This was a super friendly hostel with a lovely roof terrace and good breakfast including fruits and cereal (not just bread and jam!!) The room was okay but what made the hostel was the fantastic staff who went out of their way to help you. There is a French-Canadian lady at reception who organised tour for us, at a very... More

This hostel was the WORST of the places we stayed at during our 3 month trip. The wifi was not working and the kitchen and bathroom had not been cleaned in weeks (which could be seen from the dirty underwear and toilet paper lying around in the showers). The owner Herman either has a very lively imagination or tries to... More

The rooms were full, but the also seemed to have a few appartments a littlebit further up the street. The appartment was really nice and spacious with cable tv, aircon and a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Great value for the 180 pesos. Only problem was the cleaning of the appartment. Or should I say: the NOT cleaning of the... More

I stayed at Puertas del Sol on the recommendation of an Argentine friend. They were out of singles, so I took a dorm bed. On the plus side, they were very friendly and personable, there was lots of information and storage for baggage, and it's very central to everything. The WiFi worked perfectly. On the down side: the dorm I... More

Seriously, GO HERE! This family owned hostel is amazing, the people were warm and friendly, and great company when you get back from your day of adventure! They even made us dinner one night! Rooms are inexpensive and spacious. It's a little off of the main hub with all the nightlife, but it's a 5-10 minute walk, and totally worth... More
