I loved the home-feel of the beautiful hostel. It was cosy and not to busy so a good place to catch your breath. I love this place, I will stay there every time I am in Cordoba! Great view, decent facilities, good kitchen, fun free breakfast and coffee all day, amazing wifi, friendly and flexible owners. No protocol!

We looked at quite a few hostels in Cordoba and found this in the web by chance. As it is not featured in guide books or many web sites, we were first a bit unsure, but Las Heras proved to be a good deal.
A double room at this hostel is cheaper (about 90-100 pesos per night) than in the well known Cordoba hostels, and here you get a brand new place for your money. We were told Las Heras only opened early this year, and there were practically no other travellers staying there while we did. We stayed for 3 nights and can recommend the place to anyone. The rooms are simple but in good condition, and the beds are really good. There is free wi-fi that you can connect to anywhere in the building, and the shared showers/toilets are ok (there are two more toilets in the upper floor, next to the kitchen). The included breakfast is ultra-simple Argentine fare, just a couple of slices of toast (toasted absolutely dry), butter/marmalade and coffee/tea.
It is a short distance to the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Las Heras is a hostel where comfort and functionality are protagonists. This way we can ensure a quality service for a more than reasonable cost. Here , you never have to wait to shower or use the bathroom. If you enjoy the sun while having your breakfast, or perhaps to have dinner in the light of the stars , then you can not abandon our terrace with a view of the park. We provide that rare balance between tranquility and good vibes. An environment for meeting people from around the world and share experiences but also to recover that energy that every visitor to our city needs to have. If you come to Cordoba to experience its amazing nightlife and cultural insights or perhaps to know its historical spots or its famous mountain landscapes in the country, you will find a point equidistant from all the attractions and the lines of communication with each of them. We are located on the periphery of downtown Cordoba, in one of the most extensive green spots nearby, the beautiful and historic Parque Las Heras, opened on February 21, 1889 , the only green spot in the center of the city, beside the River Suquia, also witness the birth and evolution of Cordoba , La Docta. Our capacity is ideal in our opinion, with special care in the common areas and meeting current building standards, here we have a shower every 6 places available and a bathroom every 5 meters and nearly 200 m2 (239,2 yr2) osf common spaces. ... more   less
