One of the traps booking a hotel from far away on line is the deceptive use of photos and descriptions. Savannah was a trap for us. Staff were friendly, and location is good and central, but the ambiance and physical facilities poor. Heater noisy. Lights appalling. Layout poor. Bed firm, but covers dubious and synthetic. Room allows smoking, and in... More

Needed a place to stay near a friend's apartment. Location was excellent, near to the train station and easy walking distance (10 minutes) into the Unesco World Heritage downtown area. Good jogging nearby along the river, and looping around into the main park. Recommend staying on the upper floors (there are only 6) for a view of the local cathedral... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. Basically it was fine, nothing special but with no major minuses. Location is good, not far away from Terminal de Omnibus and also walking distance to the city center (10-15 minutes). Unfortunately, we encountered some blackouts in the city, so first there was no electricity for a while and then no water under the... More

Decent budget option positioned usefully midway between the city centre and the bus station. The rooms are fairly basic (think Travelodge in The UK) but certainly do the job. Breakfast was reasonable. Security-wise this is a decent option as the front door is security manned 24 hours a day. None of the staff speak any English, but are both friendly... More

Upon our arrival we were given a key to a room that still had sleeping occupants in and that created a very akward situation. The receptionist sorted it out quickly. Our double bedroom was a comfortable size. The ensuite bathroom has a bath tub with a shower. Unfortunately most of the tap washers were so worn that the taps could... More

Stayed for 2 nights. The staff are friendly and efficient and the breakfast is reasonable. The location is ok about 10 minutes from the plaza but there are many hotels a lot closer to the square for a reasonable price. Your sleep quality suffers here. Firstly, you are on a very busy road, then there is construction going on across... More

On the positive side, this hotel is situated in close proximity to the plaza, city tour bus, shops, station, restaurants and bars. Beds are comfortable, rooms basic. However, hot water supply is totally erratic, especially in the morning. "Estilo Gladys Salon de Belleza", the hair salon a block away from the hotel, was a God-send! (A wash, condition, fabulous head... More
