We went to Casona La Ruchi for a few days to arrange our wedding in Tigre. After a 24 hours longhaul flight and arrival in the middle of the night we were very heart warming welcome by Alejandra, the owner, and her family. With sandwiches in the room and an incredibly comfortable bed. The B&B or family hostel is an...

We arrived late on a rainy, cold Thursday evening due to a flight delay and the owners couldn't have been nicer about it. We decided to stay a second night (beyond our original reservation) and they graciously accommodated us, although we had to change rooms for the second night. You truly feel that you are guests in a magnificent old...

Casona la Ruchi is more like a high end hostel than a B and B. After the glowing reviews, I was expecting something different. I can't figure out how people are giving it such high ratings. I will agree that it is in a great location, and the house has some charm. This place was recommended to me by the...

This beautiful villa is perfectly located, 3 minutes from the regular train station and 20 minutes from "tren de la costa" station on the river across the bridge. The friendly family rent their 6 rooms on the first floor, with 3 shared bathrooms. You can relax in the beautiful garden, make use of the clean swimming pool or the covered...

Stayed here for two nights in mid-November and loved it. The hostess and host are very friendly and they have decorated this old house in a very cosy way. It has lots of character with high ceilings, wooden shutters and floors and is the perfect escape from Buenos Aires if it gets too hot/crowded for you. Bird/wildlife lovers will love...

Casona la Ruchi was the very first stop on a two year long trip and we felt like we had never left home. It will be very difficult to find a place better than this. Located in beautiful Tigre on the Parana river, Tigre is the perfect retreat if you grow weary of Buenos Aires dirt and noise. We arrived...

We stayed here for 5 nights with our 2 children aged 6 months and 2 years. It felt like we were welcomed in to the family home from the moment we arrived. The house is well located - super close to the train station and the boats to Uruguay or the delta, and to restaurants etc, yet very tranquil with...

Elegant, friendly, charming, a beautiful place hosted by a very friendly, warm family. I love visiting Tigre when I'm in Buenos Aires and Casona La Ruchi is the perfect setting to relax and take in the river scene. The breakfasts usually include fresh juice, home-made breads and jams. The home is tastefully decorated and includes art created by the very...

What a pretty family home where the host and hostess made you feel at home and comfortable. I swam in the refreshing pool and enjoyed the breakfast with my husband. The hostess told us about the tourist train going back to BA telling us to stop in San Isidro to see the magnificent cathedral. What a treat: another picturesque town.
