My room had no aircon which was difficult to bear with in the heat of the summer. A fan and being used to the heat got me through. The rooms are good, the shared bathroom wasn't a problem, but I think this was mostly because there weren't many others staying there. Lighting was a bit odd and would probably not...

Our first stop on our South American adventure we stayed here for 2 nights, a quieter back water in the Palermo district approximately 40 minutes from the airport. A very warm welcome awaits all and Thomas and Ema the reception team are a credit to the business. Genuinely friendly and helpful and always at hand. We stayed in room 1...

This was a lovely place with really comfortable rooms. There was no television but we actually found this quite refreshing as we weren't tempted to spend our evenings watching tv that we could see back home. The staff were very friendly, the hostel was very clean and the breakfast was delicious! The location seemed good as well, we were a...

Location was really convenient. Room was decent. Bathroom was a bit annoying. The door did not want to stay closed and there was some noise coming from the WC. Breakfast was just fine, a combination of healthy girly stuff like fruits and muesli, and eggs and chorizo variation for the boys. What was really exceptional was the reception staff. Both...

I stayed at Livian for my first night in Buenos Aires. Every person who worked there who I came across was really lovely. My only "complaint" (but not really) was that I got locked out of my room because the key wouldn't work. The person at reception gave me some cerveza on the house, and eventually put me up in...

Big private clean room, great welcome, small family feel hotel with kind and attentive staff. Attracts nice guests with whom I could share stories and a good glass of wine with on the terrace. the house cat is a bonus. Overall very good experience, would love to come back.

The place is very nice and cozy. The staff (I've talked mostly to lovely Pilar) is friendly, well informed and pleasant. The rooms (vintage furniture) are nice though not all have private bathrooms. There is also a very good place to work on computer or play the piano. There is a good terrace where you can chill. Very good location...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
