This hotel is really special. It is secure - you cannot just walk in off the street. It is themed, which makes it interesting, and it is very clean! The bedding, towels, and complimentary bathroom lotions and potions are of a very high quality. The room we had, The First Lady, was very spacious, comfortable and quiet (just as we...

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of out trip to Argentina. So pleased we chose to stay in Palermo as very buzzy and fun , fab restaurants and boutiques The concierge was brilliant and nothing too much trouble. They had organised restaurant booking for us in a very efficient manner when we asked them and gave us...

We stayed at this hotel as the first and last nights of a 2 week holiday in Argentina. Welcoming reception, professional staff, great room and very convenient location for wandering around Palermo and the domestic airport. On our second stay we were upgraded to a much larger room, with jacuzzi as well as taking advantage of the complimentary local wine...

Extremely quiet and atmospheric hotel in a district of BA that is bohemian and therefore quite sought after. The streets are full of marvellous little arty shops obviously out for your money but very addictive. Local restaurants are so varied that you will easily find something to suit your taste and purse. The staff were enormously helpful and nothing was...

We stayed at this hotel in late January. I cannot praise them enough. This is a small (11 room) boutique hotel in the heart of Palermo Soho. The hotel is beautiful and the staff cannot do enough for you. They offer free internet and a nice size buffet breakfast in their lobby. The hotel location in Palermo Soho is just...

Located in the fashionable and leafy Palermo district some distance from the high rise buildings and bustle of the city centre, Legado Mitico is a small (only 11 rooms) but wonderful boutique hotel that is the epitome of style. Each room is individually designed and themed on historical Argentinians (e.g, Che Guevara, Eva Peron etc.) but in a very tasteful...

This is a small boutique hotel, with a very similar sister hotel in Salta where we also stayed. Like Salta this is a very private place with good security. The library area on the ground floor is simply beautiful. Our room on the first floor was large and very comfortable. There is WIFI available. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of...

We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms - Primera Dama - and would advise anyone to spend that little bit extra and do the same. The second floor room overlooked the rear courtyard and was spacious, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet (other than for other guests making an early start!). Located in the lively area of Palermo...

Our second stay at Legado Mitico, the first time two years ago, and I was so pleased to find that nothing had changed apart from improved lighting in the rooms and the provision of body lotion with the toiletries, the lack of which were my only criticisms during our last stay. The lemon drink was still there for breakfast! I...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
