Located in the trendy Palermo neighborhood. Nice small house with a very nice lounge and a small courtyard. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but charming. Breakfast has a small choice but it was good. Service is limited, but they are friendly. Be aware the hotel is next to a busy bar so you better ask for a room facing the courtyard. If you like small charming places instead of large chain hotels you probably love this hotel. For me an excellent choice in B.A.
Nicely designed hotel in Palermo neighborhood. Well maintained, comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Nice courtyard for guests. Only caveat would be noise in front rooms (given the street has an active nightlife scene).
Our room was broken into and we were robbed. Incredibly unpleasant experience when you're staying in one of the most expensive hotels in the city. The hotel manager not only didn't believe us - he didn't even try to make an effort to investigate what had happened. Needless to say, we will not return to this hotel. Use your safety boxes when in Buenos Aires!
Greatly enjoyed our stay at Legado Mitico. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Bathrooms are also spacious with good water pressure and plenty of counter space. They provided body lotion which may seem small, but is always a detail that I appreciate. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The location is great - in Palermo with plenty of dining and shopping nearby. They also have a beautiful little courtyard that is very peaceful and the most precious little cat that hangs out there. His name is Malevo and I kind of wanted to steal him - he’s so loving and friendly! If you are a light sleeper then I suggest you request a room that faces the back courtyard. With the rooms facing the street there is more street noise and music (specifically bass) from the nearby restaurant/club. We slept with a noisemaker app and it drowned most of it out.…
The hotel is located in Palermo Soho, a very nice area with many restaurants, bars and shops. It is a safe and relatively quiet area. The hotel is a small and charming place, with only few rooms. There is a nice lounge with many books and sofas where you can relax. There is also a small terrace. The rooms are relatively small but charming. Some appliances show their age. Breakfast is ok but nothing special. Service is a bit limited, so do not expect too much of service. If you like a nice charming place in a nice neighborhood, then this hotel might be the perfect match for you.
We loved absolutely everything about this small luxury hotel. We didn’t know what to expect since it was our first trip to latinamerica and Buenos Aires amazed us. The hotel is very well located in an area called Palermo sophisticated, trendy atmosphere and bohemian mixture. An old house refurbished as a hotel with rooms named after famous local personalities. The service un general in very good, the staff could be a bit chilled, delicious breakfast and cozy common areas.
A huge positive for this hotel is the location - right in Palermo Soho, which is a very trendy neighbourhood, with numerous bars, restaurants and shops. Lots to do and great place to stroll and people-watch. Also convenient location to get anywhere else in BA. The hotel is small, but very personal and cosy. Everything well-maintained, and almost like staying in a friend's house. Super friendly staff on the front desk. Lovely large lounge behind reception for breakfast, a glass of wine, or just sitting. Rooms are a little on the small side, but well equipped and clean. Highly recommended.
A great small boutique hotel in the Palermo Soho neighbourhood. Well appointed rooms and a quiet courtyard at the back. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast and many restaurants nearby.
This was our first stop on a 3 week vacation in Argentina (organised through Audley Travel). Audley know us well from 6 previous itineraries and Legado Mitico was an inspired choice for us. 8 suites await guests, all of a high standard and decorated in a traditional style. Greeted with a welcoming drink and an introduction to Dulche de Leche - ‘toffee’ to the initiated. Soft drink, coffee or tea offered. Note also a glass of wine or a beer is offered each evening - complimentary. Our room was very well appointed and very well serviced. Breakfast - a simple affair with a very god choice of continental breakfast - eggs in various guises could be ordered at no extra cost. More than enough to set you up for the day. Supper is not served though snacks are available. The area is full of a wide range of cafes and restaurants. There is a large lounge and external area where you can enjoy the peace and quiet from the external buzz of one of the most popular areas of Buenos Aires. The district comes alive in the evening with a wide range of boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. A very safe neighbourhood of the city. Would conclude by paying a special compliment to the staff who offered excellent service throughout our stay, from the warm welcome onwards. Excellent English spoken. Their advice on restaurants and places to visit made this a most enjoyable 3 night stay.…
This hotel does not look like a hotel, it’s a locked black door that opens into a dark reception with the warmest of welcomes! It’s a warm and modern country house style vibe with Latino flair. Library and downstairs are great if you want to sit and chill. Our room was big and bathroom had shower over the bath. We had a long french window looking to the courtyard which was pretty. Aside from the comforts of a great hotel the real thing is the location. Slap bang in the middle of Palmero area with vast amounts of restaurants, bars, cafes and nice clothes shop. The breakfast had little choice but enough choice for seasoned travellers. The front of house was very helpful it’s got a good vibe.
