Last time I visited Buenos Aires (2007), I paid about $60 a night in a lovely nearby Palermo B&B, so I was a bit shocked to see how much prices had increased since then. I pulled up a Google map to see EVERY hotel in the vicinity (I was looking to be near the domestic airport since we had an...

The location was great - shops / bars / restaurants...anything you need! The staff was very pleasant and helpful!!! However, there is no gym in the hotel which several sites had listed there was. I had a room that faced the street and could hear the street traffic, quite noisy. I also could hear the other hotel guests. I had...

After having two mediocre experiences with boutique hotels in Palermo, I've finally stayed in one I'd quite happily recommend to people. The location is fantastic. The hotel is well decorated and clean and there's a backyard I would have loved to eat breakfast on if the weather were warmer. The breakfast is not overly lavish but great. I didn't have...

Synergie was a great place to start our travel in South America. They arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport, which was a huge help since we were jet lagged, new to the country, and unsure of where we were going. The hotel itself is small, but the back courtyard is a little oasis in the...

Great location in the heart of Palermo Soho - close to the shops, bars and restaurants. Very helpful staff. We were given free use of a room to shower as we had a late flight to catch after staying just one night - this was greatly appreciated. Good breakfast and nice set up. Rooms didn't quick live up to the...

Its close to everything in Palermo - you can walk to the best restaurants, shops, bars and even a Starbucks :-) Wifi...

We stayed for three nights during a weekend and we got the Standard room. The room is very nice, clean and with an overall good appearance. Has all the small amenities (shampoo, conditioner, cotton pads, sewing kit), bathrobe and slippers. The room faced the street (Malabia) which can be noisy, but that is the price you pay for staying in...

My fiance and I just returned from Buenos Aires and can't say enough about Synergie. The hotel is in quite possibly the best location in Palermo Soho. Within easy walking distance of fantastic shopping, dining and late-night cocktails. Very safe neighborhood. I would recommend staying here! I would suggest reserving a room in the back (we stayed in room 102)...

Stayed here with my wife and baby and couldn't speak more highly of it. Romina the owner is super nice and helpful and accomodating and the space is very tasteful and modern. It is in my opinion in the perfect location in Buenos Aires in Palermo Viejo, the rooms are nice and a good deal for $130 compared to some...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
