Travellers' Choice
The unique Buenos Aires, Curio Collection by Hilton boasts an ideal location in front of the famous Plaza Dorrego: a colorful, dynamic square in the epicenter of the historical neighborhood of San Telmo. We are just steps from cafes, bars, shops and antique stores, and are within 10 blocks of lots of businesses and corporate offices. In addition, we are less than five minutes' walk from the government district. Featuring an elegant exterior that reflects the area's traditional architecture and blends beautifully with San Telmo's attractive, cobblestoned streets: our hotel's open and modern interior provides a wonderful visual contrast. Feel welcome the moment you step into the airy, light-filled lobby, where our friendly, professional staff will be happy to check you in to one of our stylish guest rooms. Elegant, modern décor meets homelike comfort in our comfortable guest rooms and suites.

We had an amazing visit in BA. I have travelled there many times for work, but was truly a tourist this time. Overall, BA is affordable IF you eat where the locals eat. Housing is still a great bargain too. I would suggest that any places you are thinking about visiting, call them to find out their hours. We discovered that many websites are not accurate and coupled with COVID, we encountered more than one place closed (museum/church). We never felt unsafe and loved staying in San Telmo. Taxis are the best way to travel and never cost us more than $5-6. Great tip we learned about getting the best exchange rate is to send yourself money through Western Union...our money almost doubled! Pay with pesos and it's a great deal. Hope to go back next year and see the things we missed! I have a really good itinerary developed if anyone is interested.

Hotel's Favourite
My girlfriend and I stood at Anselmo for just one night, but we were amazed by the cozy atmosphere and the kind and warm service of the personnel. We had dinner in the room and enjoyed their delicious meals, wine, and cocktails. The tea and breakfast at their restaurant were delicious too. We want to thank Laura for her recommendations and the attention she put on the service. Really remarkable.

I had the pleasure of being served by Laura for my several day stay here. Laura did an exceptional job remembering what I ate each morning and had my omelets professionally prepared within minutes of my arrival for breakfast each morning. I have nothing but good things to say about the service that hard working Laura and her staff provided.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were there for 9 days and enjoyed our time at the hotel and the great neighborhood. One note of advice: try to get a room without a pass-through door into another room. The door is extremely thin, and the noise from the other room (even tapping on a keyboard) comes right through.)

We had an amazing experience at this hotel Anselmo. Loved our stay. The hotel is at great location and is very nice! it has good cozy clean rooms & awesome staff who is is very helpful. Especially Jonathan, who was very helpful & great at his job. He was always very happy & patient to help with our questions about Hotel , services , neighborhood, attractions and other tips that we asked. Camilla & Antonio also were helpful. The breakfast at hotel is nice. The room is nice & Cozy. The location is great and the plaza is very lively at nights with music etc. and on the weekends there is also famous Flea market during day till 6 pm. & you can live catch Tango performances. Walking distance to Puerto Madero and San Telmo market where we had nice empanadas (La Posta Del Hornero) and other local food. Great way to experience Argentina's culture. Also close to super mini market and some good shops. Would love to stay here again if we go back. Love Buenos Aires & San Telmo!

The place is a mix of old fashioned and modern hospitality, dedication, attention to detail and personal touches that make your stay magical. The staff are all Friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the doorman Antonio or Sebastian to the front desk staff were amazing. A special shout out to Camila who is tye hotel’s number one star ( as far as customer service is concerned) Will definitely come back soon…

The hotel is in a great location in the bohemian neighborhood of San Telmo adjoining a park. I was pleasantly surprised when the attentive staff (Yasmin and Czmi) reached out to me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to see if I needed anything. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and supportive. The breakfast was nothing special, but there was a reasonable assortment of food to satisfy most people. My only complaint was that the people in the room next to me played loud music in the evening and their children made a lot of noise in the hallway each morning. Other than that I very much enjoyed my stay.

I really like this new quiet hotel at the plaza dorrego. Big smart tv. Lots of small shops and restaurants nearby. And the market. Weekend street partys. Close to the historic center. Museums and parks.
