I have now been to Gorriti 3 times & will always return when I am in Buenos Aires. It is a charming house in my favourite part of town, Palermo, just a short walk from all the wonderful small groovy shops & restaurants. The mani double room is my favourite, with en suit bathroom, although I have also stayed in...

The room was clean and comfortable with working air conditioning and plenty of space. Hernan was welcoming, provided a good breakfast, and helped arrange transportation for us to the local domestic airport. My only suggestion is that the owners mark the front of the property in some way as we initially had a hard time locating the building.

The owner is very helpful and gives advise and recommendations what to do in Buenos Aires and where to eat. He prepared a delicious breakfast with fruits and a variety of bread every morning. As it has just 3 rooms and you eat breakfast in the family's dining room you feel at home. The room has high ceiling (very old...

Worst B&B experience in my 20 years of active travel. It is genuinely difficult to put into words how offensive the owner was with my wife and I. We booked two nights at this B&B (which just happened to be on my birthday, nothing special or anything), and we were genuinely looking forward to starting our day with "exquisite tarts"...

Hernàn is the perfect host. Gorritti is located in Palermo Viejo, a lovely area much like Greenwich Village. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Ask anything, and Hernàn is there to help. Lots of carbs at breakfast.

This B&B is well located near Palermo Soho, so near to the excellent (coffee)bars and restaurants, though in a quiet street. The owner Hernán is superfriendly and will help you out with info about transportation, restaurants, things to visit, Argentinas history,... The breakfast is great! Lots of choice and delicious! This B&B is a topper!

This small B&B is perfectly situated within Palermo Soho in Buenos Aires. Just within walking distance to nice cafés, bars, shops & nightlife. It offers 4 very nice and spotless rooms (3 w/ shared bathroom, one beeing a suite). The owners Hernan & Jimena live on site which adds a great homey touch to the place. They both are very...

We could not have asked for a more wonderful four nights in Buenos Aires. As traveling students we were in search of a clean, quiet and well priced place to stay while in BA. Gorriti proved to be exactly that. Our biggest concern in choosing a BandB/hostel was cleanliness. The bathroom mats were cleaned and changed daily, the rooms mopped...

We stayed with Hernan and Jimena at the start of a two month stay in Buenos Aires and they were a wonderful introduction to the city. Hernan dutifully answered all of our questions, let us practice our broken Spanish, and gave us lots of helpful tips to navigate the city. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they are very clean...

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
