I stayed at Caserón Porteño for 38 nights from 7th December 2014 to 14th January 2015. I ordered an airport pickup and was met by Dario holding a large sign with my name on. He drove me to Caserón Porteño and carried my bags to my room. I was in Room 10 (the best in the house) on the first-floor... More

We stayed at Caseron Porteno for 10 nights and in the middle of this they were kind enough to take care of our luggage while we went to Iguazu falls for one night. The hotel has a small tango studio and includes lessons with the accommodation at no extra charge. We had arranged our own private lessons and our instructor... More

We spent our final two nights in Argentina here to get a taste of the tango life. The map/brochure Carolina gave us pointed to an excellent milongo where we were able to see locals dancing socially. The next night we received a tango lesson as part of the room cost. Our room was fine - no complaints. We enjoyed the... More

Loved the staff: Gabriel and Carolina are very friendly and can give you a lot of tips regarding the city. You really feel at home - there is even a very friendly cat. The rooms are nice, you have private bathroom but the room we had to go outside (I did not mind). The breakfast is good, Carolina even makes... More

I was there for 9 days in July, between apartments, and again had a lovely stay, including the excitement, joy, and tears of watching World Cup games with other guests in the upper living room. Everything is just as I said in a much older review, and as reiterated by other reviewers. However I spent one night in a so-called... More

We had a lovely superior room at CP overlooking the interior garden -- super-comfortable bed, peaceful and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and when we tried to book some extra nights and they were full, they went out of their way to find a nice place nearby. It was a great neighborhood to explore, lots of restaurants... More

Caseron Porteno is a very clean and quite B&B with great access to the nearby metro line from which to explore the city. The rates are also great value for the rooms, breakfast and service you receive. The staff and owner were very helpful and accommodating with all of our requests. I highly recommend staying here!

The hostel is very good, the treatment of the staff is great! The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and there is a safe in the room. Dont order the transportation service from the airport through the hostel, we've paid far too much for it (60$ USD), for comparison, when we left Buenos Aires we paid for the same service... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
