The breakfast are some hard brioche, a sweet jam, and if you want also there is a bag with cookies (which are also horrible). everything in the hostel, and very different from the pictures. in total, the hostel has about 30 beds, and so has two bathrooms, which are worse than the bathrooms of public bus station. was the worst...

We stayed at Kilca for about 2 weeks, due to its great rate and accessible parking for motorcycles in the courtyard. There aren't too many affordable places downtown and Kilca offers cheap accommodations as well as an owner who is great to help out with whatever needs one might have. Make sure you book your first night in via on-line...

This is the best place in BA for moto people, and its very good value at $10USD per day. Kilca was great - its setup in a turn of the century mansion. I met the owner the first day and he let me store my motorcycle for free for a few days while I was away on the other side...

I do not recommend people to stay there. The neighborhood is good but the cleanliness and the quality of sevices is pretty poor. As other people say, there are instects, breakfast is very inconsistant, the bathroom was broken while I was there, the matresses are pretty dirty, the bar has no drinks because the fridge is broken.

I came to buenos aires randomly and met many friends here. Travelled together and back in hostel again. Cuz we miss here. Staff are kind and the location is good and quiet. Not a big party but enjoyed lunch at the out side and beer at the lounge And the cat is so cute

High ceilinged old courtyard house in a charismatic neighbourhood in BA. We stayed in a double room which was basic but atmospheric! The owner and staff are super friendly and relaxed and the kitchen is available at all times. An easy place to hang out in the city :-)

I was in and out of Buenos Aires for about a month. I loved my time there. The people that were there made me feel at home. The first part of the stay was so nice, because the internet did not work. We got to know each other better without the internet. Me gusta KILKA!

Kilca was a great place to relax. The communal lounge is big and spacious and cool in the summer. It's a great place to get to know the owners Guido and Dani and chat with the other guests. There is always a group meal happening and another chance to get to know your fellow travellers. Guido and Dani are great...

The charm of this place is the people who work and stay here! The owner, Guido, is beyond helpful and friendly. He does his best to help you find your way about the city, suggests great attractions, and will do his best to help you in any other way. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't your place. It is...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
