My friend and I spent 8 lovely nights at the Palermo Viejo B&B. Our host, Ariel, was extremely helpful and courteous as was all of the staff. This place is a real gem - uncomplicated, clean, charming and a great value. I would definitely recommend this to anyone heading to Buenos Aires.

Palermo B&B is a perfect home base in Buenos Aires. It is in the best neighborhood in the city, on a quiet street, with hundreds of restaurants, shops and bars within minutes of walking outside. The B&B itself is exceptionally clean, I would even say spotless. The rooms (we stayed in 2 different ones) are spacious, with air conditioning and...

Greetings Visitors. Reading all the reviews already published here - i don't think i can add much more apart from agreeing on everything. Ariel, the owner, was most helpful with advice and personal touch on my stay. I noticed this very personal, patient and respectful approach to all the guests (not just me) which i found very valuable when you...

Just wanted to add to the above reviews that we had a lovely stay here -- Ariel, the owner, was in touch via email and helped us through booking and transport from the airport... the large loft room was beautiful, but the best part was a little basket of chocolates with a note wishing us a "Happy Honeymoon"... we thought...

My brother and I stayed at Palermo Viejo B&B last August. We were looking for a low-priced hotel or hostel near the nightlife so we could explore other neighborhoods during the day and then be able to walk home from dinner/drinks at night. PVBB was a great choice for us! WAY above hostel-level accommodation, but not that much more expensive,...

We stayed here for 3 nights in all, 2 at the beginning of our holiday and 1 at the end. It was perfect for us. The location was great: you can easily spend a whole day strolling through the parks, enjoying the bars and restaurants and wondering round the boutiques. We felt totally secure at all times of the day...

I had done a lot of research, comparing B&B reviews and contacting the owners. A couple of locations were perfectly matched for us, and Palermo Viejo B & B was one of them. Everything worked out great for us, from making the reservation to the location and our room to the top-notch staff. It was quiet, clean, and we had...

The Palermo Viejo B&B is a charming place from which to explore Buenos Aires. It's nothing fancy - the room features a spare, loft-aesthetic with a comfortable bed, small fridge, tv with cable (some English-language stations) and clean bathroom. The breakfasts are simple and typical for Argentina - fresh-baked breads, croissants, yogurt, fruit, and coffee or tea, with a glass...

We recently returned from a trip to South America. In Buenos Aires, we stayed at Palermo Viejo B&B. The B&B was recently renovated and was very clean. The room had a comfortable bed, small refrigerator, and a safe. The bathroom was roomy, had hot water 24/7 and it was nice to have a storage place under the sink. Rooms are...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Stylish B&B in the heart of Palermo Viejo/Soho. The house is located in a 1901 building, traditional of those days in Buenos Aires neighborhoods. The Casa Chorizo has been renewed keeping its original style. High ceilings, brick and thick walls are one of the details to mention. As a narrow landmark the rooms are organized in a row, facing the side patio/garden full of green where hanging out after a long day is a must. All the rooms have private en-suite bathroom and two of them are big enough with a double level to accommodate more than two people, perfect for 3 or 4. The art work of different artists is found everywhere in the property which gives it a Bohemian atmosphere. The decor is simple, where each item was found in flea markets and auctions to make the B&B a warm and a perfect place to feel at home away of home. ... more   less
