This is the best area in Buenos Aires, known as Recoleta! The hotel has magnificent great rooms where you can enjoy breakfast in the palace part of the hotel. It is a mixture of new and old. The court yard / gardens connect the new part of the hotel to the old palace. Some of the restaurants share the court...

Very much enjoyed this hotel. Stayed in both the newer side and the palace side. Can't go wrong either way. Service was excellent. Not much more to add that hasn't been said. We would stay here again when we are in BA. Within walking distance to numerous sites and restaurants.

There's probably nothing to be said about the Park Hyatt that hasn't already been said. It's an amazing property located perfectly in Buenos Aires. I have been to BA on numerous occasions, but this was my first time staying here. Now that I'm completely spoiled, I'm not sure I can think of another place to stay on a future trip

You are literally staying in a Palace with the expected level or service, outstanding!!!! No matter on which building you stay (older or newer) the experience is the same. Take the opportunity to walk from one building to the other using the connecting passage, they showcase some beautiful art pieces and of course you should do it outdoors as well...

It was my third time at the hotel, but this was my first time that wasn't just an overnight stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and well located in Buenos Aires. I would easily place it in a top 3 category in terms of luxury and ambience among all the hotels I've ever been. The room is very clean, quiet...

Recently while in Buenos Aires for arteBA art fair, we stayed here for the first time. It is a lovely hotel in a peaceful setting. Nicely located in the Recoleta district. Our room 904 was nice with hard wood flooring. Did hear some noise from the room above. Bathroom was very nice with separate commode, shower and tub. Tub was...

Stayed at the Park Hyatt in the Palace section for 5 nights - executive suite after an upgrade. We were throughly spoilt. The room was a wonderful space - great lounge, very spacious bedroom, fantastic blackout blinds, huge bathroom (always a plus!) Staff were super helpful and friendly. The gardens between the two buildings are a lovely view to wake...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
