My husband and I stayed here at the start and end of our elopement/honeymoon trip to Argentina. Initially, we had only booked to stay for our first trip to Buenos Aires, thinking we'd move to a different area of town on our return at the end of the month - however, we had such a good experience during our first... 'Home' is a great name for this place, especially if you like your home to be stylish, comfortable, in a neigbourhood full of lovely places to eat, and populated by people who are incredibly helpful and completely unintrusive. We stayed in a two story loft. Very spacious, well appointed and, essentially felt more like a home than a hotel. So,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here over Christmas/ New Year (sorry for the tardy review). We have family in and around BA. The hotel is a home away from home (except we don't have the pool or the beautiful garden). Contemporary design without going too minimal. Great rooms. Lovely relaxing garden and pool. I loved the little details, such as... More

My Partner and Spent 4 fantastic days here. The decor was stylish, retro, chic that felt gorgeously comfortable. The endless attention to detail was impressive right down to their own recommendations of where to eat. Amazing service and hospitality especially from Andrew at reception. Tom (owner I think) also delightfully hospitable and friendly. The bar and restaurant were also spot... More

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel with my husband and our 2 year old. They were very sweet with our daughter, even providing us with a baby monitor so we could have a drink at the bar while she slept and a free cot. Babysitting service (with 24 notice) was easily arranged and very affordable and there were... More

My boyfriend and I chose this hotel on advice from our Buenos Aires friends and our experience at Home exceeded our expectations. The staff provided us with great tips to make the most of our visit to one of the most exciting cities we've been to. The area is great for restaurants and bars, shopping and hanging out. Home provides... More

I'm sure it's all been said before but we had a great 6 day stay at Home during July 2011. Whilst the rooms aren't the largest around, they're definitely big enough and the interior design is very funky. We really appreciated the Home breakfast as well - all those little bits and pieces let you experience the creativity of the... More

Almost didn't bother writing a review given the vast number of rave reviews. But we enjoyed Home Hotel so much I felt I need to add my ditto to the positive reviews. We (girlfriend and I) spent 6 nights at the Hotel. Great room, superb staff and service and stylish yet comfortable design. This is the type of hotel that... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
