Recoleta is an awesome place to stay and enjoy Buenos Aires and Cyan Hotel is the perfect location to stay. The hotel ‘s breakfast which was included was awesome. Nice to have the first meal and then explore Buenos Aires. The front desk woman who welcomed us was outstanding and a fountain of information. We exchanged dollars at a good rate at the front desk to pay for the stay at check-in. The Cyan overlooks the Recoleta Cementery and is surrounded by restaurants and many attractions. We used the SUBE for bus transportation and Moovit to catch the proper buses. Enjoy beautiful Buenos Aires
Great for tourists with children. But if you want a good sleep, not so much. The hotel is across from the most touristic of places, the cemetery made famous by Evita. And it is fronted by numerous restaurants with patios that never seem to close. But the rooms are well maintained even if minimalistic. The breakfast is ok. The subway is a 10 minute walk. The Fine Arts Museum is close. Overall a good place, especially if travelling with children (I’m not), a tourist (I’m not) and don’t mind the sounds of partying (I do)
Clean, comfortable and modern accommodation ideally situated in a lively part of Buenos Aires opposite the Recoleta Cemetery. Cheerful, friendly staff. Room includes facilities for self-catering. Good breakfast.
I had to book one night in Buenos Aires before a cruise and chose this hotel. It is literally across the street from the Recoleta cemetery where Eva Peron is buried. They have a convenient good quality breakfast and are very helpful for tourists. This was my view of the cemetery from my room. The hotel is clean and comfortable as well.
Stayed here as part of a Patagonia group in December 2019. The hotel location is great opposite the Cemetery and close to the art museums and in the wonderful Recoleta area. While the hotel is not very inspiring in terms of decor, the hotel staff and the location more than make up for this. Particular mention to Celeste, Emiliano and Xavier who were polite, helpful and welcoming. Thank you. Claire
This review is for the suites which is an adjacent building to the hotel. The location is excellent, couldn't be better for sightseeing and safety. Reception is good, efficient and welcoming. Breakfast has a good choice but for travellers like me who stayed for a few days it would have been nice if some of the items changed more frequently as it can get a bot boring otherwise. The suite entrance is in need of renovation. The walls need painting and there are details in the suites which are also in need of attention. For example there was not even a shell to place the bare essential needs and it could have done with an extra hook for towels. The fridge also was a little noisy. All in all very good otherwise.
A great place to stay overviewing de Recoleta Cemetery. Friendly and helpfull staff and a excellent breakfast. Nice bars and restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pre- or aftercruise stay to discover Buenos Aires.
The rooms facing the famous Recoleta Cemetery have a great view. The location of the hotel is excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a vibey area to stay in. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
We stayed on the 5th floor with the view to Recoleta Cementery. The room was neat and cleaned everyday. The breakfast was included and had plenty of options to choose, from fruits, to croissants and scrambled eggs. The room had hair dryer, bathtub, hot water, towels, flatware, microwave oven and a small fridge. The bed and the pillows were comfortable too. One disadvantage is the acoustic because you can hear the neighbor rooms and you can be awaken by the upper neighbor when she walks.
I was pleasantly surprised with the location of this hotel. Recoleta cemetery is right across. And our room had a great view of it. The only drawback is this hotel is flanked by restaurants/bars, which may not be bad for some people. But the loud music was going on well after midnight. So the 1st 2 nights were not good. But on our last night which was Monday night, it was quiet. The hotel is a no frills hotel. The lobby is not that inviting but the location more than made up for it.
