Hotel is very very old, the rooms are clean but they need serious wall painting, the breakfast is very limited. The location is not that bad. In general this is low budget hotel so you are getting what you paid for. If I come to Buenos Aires again I will choose different hotel.
Newer mattress firm but comfortable. Cleaned daily but towels are replace every other day. The bidet occupies precious space in a cramped wc. Minimum furnishing, Luggage must be placed on the floor (no space for luggage rack). No Kleenex must use toilet paper. Used toilet paper to be disposed in the only trash can provided. Continental breakfast is good. Hotel staff wanted $340 pesos to hail a taxi early in the morning but it cost me under 120 pesos from the airport to the hotel. Something is not right. Anyways the hotel is indeed convenient and cheap sleep. Forget watching TV. It's only a 22" screen.
My wife and I had booked the Impala but were transferred here on arrival - they are both in the 525 Hotels group. Initially we were not happy as the location looked as if it would be noisier. In fact the location, on one of Buenos Aires busiest roads, was fine, as you must expect noise everywhere in BA. The hotel is showing its age, but the staff were excellent - very helpful when we were planning to get the ColoniaExpress to Uruguay; with money exchange; advice generally. Our bedroom on the tenth floor was fine, with a great view over the city. The large double bed was comfortable, and as the room safe didn't work we found that there is a very secure private strong box facility in the lobby. The wifi in the bedroom was excellent and very fast. The breakfast was about as…
I stayed here with my fiance for 3 nights when we first arrived in Argentina. It is in a good spot (3 blocks from the Brazilian consulate, for those wanting to get a visa) and close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It was clean and tidy, hot shower, comfy king sized bed, decent breakfast and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There is free wifi in the lobby and breaky area too. We booked on booking.com and got the room for AU$45/night which was a bargain. I have seen some not so good reviews for this place but i could find no fault. I do understand that it depends on what you are after. But for us this was perfect place to recover from our flight, obtain our visa and get our bearings. Hope you find this helpful!
I stayed in this hotel for just one night and it was great for just that. The room features are not the most recent but for the price I paid it was well worth it. The location is excellent, within walking distance of el monumental and buenos aires's main downtown core. Nice cafes and restaurants around the corner. Staff were very friendly. No trace of any bed bugs. Lobby is clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again for the price and location.
