A modern/updated hotel in one of the best locations in the City of Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), with great comfortable and spacious rooms. Very good breakfast service as well. The staff is very professional, courteous and friendly.

it used to be our favorite hotel in Buenos for years. Last year we have same comments, but still we decided to stay there twice 9for few days) during this year trip. After first we ...change hotel. The service is very unfriendly. As usual we had informed by mail hotel that we're coming again and that our plane is early...

This was our first stay at Hotel Madero. The location is great, right in the trendy Puerto Madero neighbourhood, walkable to cafes, restaurants, bars. The Hotel was clean, had friendly and helpful staff, and breakfast was adequate. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a well placed hotel for us on our first visit to the city. We walked and used the local taxis to visit the places that our limited time allowed us to visit. The staff are very helpful, in particular the concierge Sebastian who is worthy of his gold keys and their receptionist Tika. The room was spacious, clean...

My wife and I stayed twice at the hotel Madero in February 2017 on both occasions for 2 nights. Our reception was excellent on both occasions and the rooms very comfortable with a modern decor. The location is good but perhaps not the best for a tourist. On our first visit it became clear very quickly that we had no...

A gem of a hotel in a great safe and scenic location. A mixture of hip and modern mixed with traditional comfort and service. The rooms are large and sleek but cosy at the same time. Feels a little like an apartment with a small sink unit and fridge and breakfast bar, plus balcony with comfy chair. Staff are very...

After a long trip I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm and stayed until 11:30 pm trying to fix the water (not heating). The reception informed that I should keep the water running at least 5 minutes ("Eco Madero"). For this level of hotel it is not acceptable. Besides that other services are good.

Outstanding location in Madero - an island paradise with the city right next door in walking distance- The hotel is superb - a rooftop glass enclosed pool that overlooks the city which made a very relaxing way to end each day after touring. The rooms have large balconies and are quiet as can be since the area of Madero is...

I love this hotel, which is located in a very safe clean upmarket area, where men walk their poodles, families of children go roller-blading, bunches of girls stroll out for a bite to eat in the pavement cafes. Very close to the beating heart of the city. The rooms are magnificent, service great, the decor to my taste at least!...

Great spot . We took the room with a view to the river . Modern, well kept . Nothing special but at the same time accommodating. We liked the location . The room was spacious and to our liking. Breakfast was good and the hotel offers a nice bar and has a good restaurant. Walking distance to the center.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists ... more   less
