I spent 5 nights in this hotel while staying in BA recently. % nights accommodation cost me just under £100. I would be easy to dwell on the negative aspects of this hotel, so I'll leave them until last. The plus points are:- Good strong wifi that is free The three guys I met on reception were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. seemingly endless hot water. less than £20 a night. There was a fair bit of noise in the hotel but I am a heavy sleeper and didn't really hear it. I got the impression tht most of the other guests were local workers, rther than tourists, as the npise seemed to be early on. The bathroom was small and it was a wetroom, so it takes a bit of discipline to use. A mop was provided to clear the water off the floor after your shower. The towels could have been bigger but to be fair, I asked for s third one and got given it. Air con worked, as did the radiator. The window opened into an inspection shaft, so no view. The hotel is located in Balvanera barrio, so is a bit of a walk from the main tourist areas. For a guide. the cab to Reterio (Evita Museam) was 150 Pesos, and a cab to Aeroparque was 220 peso's. I probably woulndn't stay there again, simply due to the distance from the main tourist attractions, rather than because of anything to do with the hotel itself…
There is a lot of hassle in the corridor, sounds from other rooms clearly audible and annoying. The room is very cold, and heating in the room did not work. The hotel is less than normal. And the furniture is very old. The Staff is very friendly and Utmost kindness, and the Wi-Fi is very good. Services are available around the hotel but the area does not look safe.
My flight was delayed and they didn't keep my reservation. They sent me to another one of their hotels which was awful so I returned the following day only to find out they wanted to charge me for the previous night and to add insult to injury they didn't want to agree on the rate that was given to me when I made the reservation. After much arguing they agreed to keep yo reservation daily rate!
