This is an awesome boutique hotel. It’s very clean, gorgeous, with a fantastic pool. The service was also excellent! Check out was at noon, but they allowed us to use the facility all day as our plane’s departure was at 10pm. They were very accommodating
This boutique hotel really made our stay in Buenos Aires something special. Although the least expensive rooms are a bit small, they were very reasonably priced and modern. The room had plenty of storage so we didn't have to live out of our suitcases and had a unique and attractive design. The ground floor had a great design flow with everything from a grand piano to a bar, living room area and outside area pool with a fountain. The location is perfect. It's on a quiet, neighborhood street but within short walking distances to many great restaurants and sights. Palermo is a beautiful neighborhood and this hotel is the perfect place to explore it from. Even with all of this, I have to say the best feature was the hospitality of the staff. All of the staff we encountered were great and Oracio and Anderson in particular were very friendly and helpful. They greeted you with a warm smile and were very attentive to whatever you needed. After a long day of sightseeing, the staff at this hotel made it feel like you were coming home. If we ever make it back to Buenos Aires, there will be no hotel shopping for us, we will just book here again.…
It was perfect in every way, except that upon arrival we had booked to cars from the domestic airport, which is 10 minutes away, for 100 USS. This is not a problem if you get high class cars, but not quite old, small and uncomfortable cars. This felt like a rip--off and gave a bad start. However, breakfast, the room itself with balcony to the back and the impeccable service of Anderson made us almost forget it.
We received an offer for Valentine's Day which included suite + dinner + breakfast for 169.50 USD + taxes. After a couple of emails to confirm availability and just at the time of payment they told us that this offer was not updated and when we indicated that we had received it that same day they blatantly told us that they had no longer availability and increase the price to 269.50 USD + taxes... My advice: Check and confirm prices, conditions, fees and charges offered because they use deceptive advertising to scam their customers. I let you a mail as support of this scam.
Very special, boutique hotel, lovely decor and terrific staff. The breakfast was very good as was the service. Light and airy hotel with a baby grand piano for everyone to play. Welcome drink on arrival and helpful hints on restaurants etc.
We stayed in Recoleta or Puerto Madero during our first three trips to BA, but were always visiting Palermo Soho, which may be the most charming neighborhood in a major city (tough to concede from New Yorkers!), so this time we chose this neighborhood for a hotel. The 1828 is not a large chain hotel, and one doesn’t exist in this neighborhood, so don’t expect that. It is a charming boutique hotel, with small but very nice rooms, friendly/helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Most importantly, the hotel is located near the many great shops and restaurants in Palermo Soho. Make sure you download the Cabify app, as it’s better than Uber in BA.
This hotel is wonderful. The location, staff, room, cleanliness, and food/beverage service were excellent. The Palermo district is just a couple of blocks away with tons of restaurants and shops. It is within easy walking distance to catch the Hop On Hop Off bus. The staff were very informative about the area with tips for restaurants and places to go. The room was very modern and clean with all of the amenities and was exactly as shown in the photos. We did not order from the restaurant, but breakfast was very good and fresh and the bar at night had a good selection.
Smart hotel is a lovely hotel in the lively Palermo neighborhood. It is small and intimate but has all the comfort of a large hotel, including a small pool and friendly lobby. Rooms are small but very clean and comfy
Super staff, fun area, and lovely rooms. Our kids loved room service, reliable WiFi, and Netflix. We loved the neighborhood: so many restaurants and bars, murals, and cute shops. Everyone who works at the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. We will stay here again.
One room we stayed at middle was too tigth and narrowand the shutter didn’t work. We complain about it but it didn’t make any chance but over all, the hotel and the staff were wonderful it is a very nice area to stay.
