We stayed at the Arribo Buenos Aires, on three separate one night stays. The hotel is well situated in the San Telmo area of Buenos Aires, close to public transit, Casa Rosado and the San Telmo Market(Sundays). On our first night we were in the room facing the street, it was like sleeping in the middle of the street. The...

overall this hotel is clean and comfortable. the main thing I found was that the hotel is not as classy or fancy as the photos would indicate. the hotel is in an old colonial building but it is not as fancy as it looks. our room did not have a private bathroom so I had to go outside across a...

The key reason for my 5 star review is that the staff of this hotel go out of their way to assist you. For example, their 'taxi' to the international airport costs almost half that of the standard rate. The hotel is located very near two subway lines which is extremely useful for getting around BA. It's located in an...

Centrally located. The Manager, Martin, is an asset. Knows his work and is always available to help you in any matter. You are at walking distance from most important places, restaurants, theaters and shopping centers.

The hotel is centrally situated in San Telmo. Our room was charming, quiet and with everything you could need. The roof terrace offers a nice view and the staff is so helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Hotel Arribo is located in upper San Telmo district where you are so close to the famous Florida street and Plaza de Mayo. The 2 subway lines are at 3-4 mins walking distance and Plaza de Mayo is 5 mins away on foot. It is also close to bus lines. You have many restaurant alternatives if you just go down...

This hotel is a romantic venue for couples. First, the owner, Martin, was awesome! When I proposed to my fiancee, Martin was super helpful, arranging a romantic candle-lit table on the rooftop while we were away at a dinner. I couldn't have asked for better service, and on something as important as that, it was a huge relief when he...

We only stayed here one night for our last night in Buenos Aires, but would definitely stay again if we ever go back. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean room, free wifi and friendly staff. The room was tucked away within the hotel and so was very quiet. Breakfast is served in the restaurant across the street and was great. Location was...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
