Although the rooms are nice and spacious: -the beds are uncomfortable -the shower takes forever to be "warm", not even hot water -they don't have towels for the floor -they used to have scrambled eggs for breakfast but it seems like the new administration decided it was too expensive Front desk staff is friendly and you can tell that is not their fault about anything, but oh boy this place has gone down since a year ago. Also, avoid going in summer, last time the A/C of my room was not working and I had to move to another room.
I was not even able to check in. I landed in Buenos Aires at 8:30 am and I made a reservation in this hotel for a colleague that was traveling with me, since it was conveniently located. Since we were early, I had call to see if they would let us check in earlier, the person in the reception was trying to find a decision maker that would allow her to do so without any success. Since the lobby was so dirty, I had to ask them if I could look at the room. Once we got into the room, I thought I was going to die. The dirty hallways and unsafe elevator that we almost got trapped in, should had prepare me for it. But, the room and the windows were broken, water and tree leaves had come from under the floor, furniture is dirty and chipped and bathrooms are disgusting. Look at pictures and save your life, the elevator may fall, the wind may have the glass pieces fly into cutting you and you may get viruses, bacterias from the lack of the hotel cleaning and from all the mice, rats and cockroaches that are running around. Btw, I never spend my valuable time writing a review. Go figure, this was a must. I am sure the only revenue they get is from all the idiots that pay a cancelation fee once they check in. This is Bait and Switch. This is a scam. Run away!…
I arrived and my room didn't have AC... they moved me to another room (smaller and with no balcony, for which I paid for). The shower was impossible to regulate. The wifi didn't work properly. The first day the cleaning lady didn't leave a towel for the floor. The next day at breakfast (if you can call it breakfast), when I arrived, the toaster was not connected, there was no juice, nor water, nor cups for tea... When I told the guy at reception about all this, instead of helping to fix the wifi or offering me a towel, he answered: 'I will pass on your message to my boss'. The atmosphere is nice and very well located, but that's it.
