We just spent a week in Buenos Aires and this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was terrific. The room was a bit small but still quite manageable. Bring slippers, as the tile floor in the room gets quite cold. I'd also recommend you bring a few coat hangars with you, the wire type you get from your dry cleaners that you don't mind leaving behind. There isn't a hairdryer in the room but you can get one from the front desk. You can also get an iron and ironing board from housekeeping if you need them. There is no U.S. type electrical outlet in the room but there is one European type. The included breakfast was adequate--pastries, cold cuts, dry cereal, cheese, coffee, tea, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. If you arrive early, the front desk will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. There are plenty of attractions within walking distance of the hotel, as well as excellent restaurants. Just a block away is a small, family-run place called Viejo Alsina that features excellent food at a very inexpensive price. The famous San Telmo Market is an easy half-,mile walk. For some reason Uber cannot pick you up or drop you off near the hotel. It's about a quarter-mile to the nearest pickup point. However, the car service (Talixo) we booked to and from the airport was allowed to pull up at the lobby door. That was $74 round trip. All in all, this hotel was perfect and the price was a bargain ($321 for the week). That may have been the winter rate, but winter is the best time to visit BA.…
First time in this hotel.Great price/value relation. All very clean, perfect breakfast and extremely helpful, friendly and competent personnel. The location is not ideal but who can complain because the hotel is next door to the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel. Booked already again for more days at good price.
Stayed here for five nights. Enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable beds, walking distance to many attractions. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is ok. Would recommend to stay here. Laundy is expensive, there are laundromat near by to do washing.
You can’t get an uber from outside the hotel door, you must walk to the next block to get the uber but we couldn’t because we relayed on the hotel WiFi to call our uber. So that’s pointless. Breakfast is the same thing EVERY MORNING. Bad, cold coffee, pastries galore & bad service at breakfast. Only reception staff can speak English. WiFi works well & house keeping was good.
Stayed in Buenos Aires for one day before my flight home. This hotel is right next door to 5 star hotel. Even it is not as fancy, but looks modern and updated. The room is not big, and lacks some amenities (hair dryer, desk for luggage ,etc.), but is clean and adequate for a short stay. For the reasonable price I paid, I consider it a pretty good value. Front desk staffs are helpful and friendly. Included breakfast is a very nice touch.
Great cost, very good service, clean rooms, and excellent location! What more could you possibly need or want. It is a very functional hotel as described by someone else as well. And for the cost it is absolutely great! Definite recommend!
I’m on a business trip traveling through Buenos Aires. I spent the night here, since I wanted to be centrally located and see some of the city. The hotel is very convenient to the sights that Buenos Aires has to offer. There are several cafes nearby, which is great because the hotel does not have a restaurant. The rooms are a little smaller, but well kept. The breakfast is limited, since they mostly offer pastries. There are no eggs or fruit, they have one type of ham and cheese, pastries, cereal, milk, coffee, tea and orange juice. The WiFi works well throughout the hotel. Also if you are coming from the US or some other countries MAKE SURE you bring a converter. I wasn’t going to bring one, but I’m so glad I did. There is one type of plug, that I have no idea where to find a converter for it. The other one is with the two round prongs, I think it is Euro style. Check your converter, I had it set to converter and it kept heating up and would stop charging. I adjusted it to adapter and it all worked fine. I’m going to come back to Buenos Aires after spending a week in Posadas. I’ll probably stay here again, but I might check out another property. I do recommend this hotel.…
This hotel is modern, clean and well located for many of the major sights in Buenos Aires. The reception staff are helpful and speak reasonable English. The rooms are certainly not large and finding space for a couple of suitcases was a bit of a challenge so the hotel is perhaps best suited to short stays. There is a good spacious shower and plenty of hot water and the room has a safe to store valuables, but no coffee making facilities. The included breakfast is somewhat limited, being mostly nice pastries, toast and a couple of cereals with juice and tea or coffee. There was also some sliced cheese and ham but no fruit, yoghurt or eggs etc. Overall we felt it a good place to stay for a few days in BA.
What a great hotel. Excellent location very friendly staff and modern well appointed rooms. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast was good and the wi fi was excellent. Would love to stay again and would highly recommend
We wanted a hotel for one night before heading on a cruise. This place was clean, quiet and friendly. As a coeliac continental breakfasts are not my friend but they had a gluten free choice for me. Happy.
