Horrible hotel. They gave us the keys and the room was turned upside down. (They began to clean in the middle of check-in) They gave us another one, impossible to sleep due to the noise of the elevator, dirty corridors, broken faucets without pressure, curtains with holes, dirty closets, dirty ceiling, literally EVERYTHING BROKEN... I'll give you some photos . Get your own conclusions. Don't believe everything you see in the photos.

I have been staying in this hotel for several years before the pandemic that implied many and most hotels closed in Argentina since March 20, 2020. It had always been an outstading 4 stars hotel located in downtown Buenos Aires and there were significant reasons to choose it for basically for my business trips to the capital city of Argentina: the profuse buffet breakfast, the ample rooms, a cosy business center with a desktop computer and big office table, channel tv subscription featuring several international broadcasting networks such as the RAI, CNN and TVE, among others. Another and quite unique trait of Centuria hotel has been the curated art gallery comprehending avant garde paintings by renowed Argentine visual artists being the woman curator an art specialist who can tell and explain many "secrets" of the shown art works. And after several restrictions started to be released in Argentina during October 2020, I wondered about the re-opening of the Centuria hotel and I had the pleasure to learn that it survived the "slaughtering" of hotels that the extremely long Argentine quarantine implied! I was so happy to see that Centuria hotel is up and running since the beginning of 2021 year and with a new ownership and staff (many kind and sympathetic employees from Venezuela). And the most meaningful so far is the fact that this property continues its excellent service as a 4 stars hotel: buffet breakfast is now served by welcoming ladies, business center is ongoing having the same facilities it used to have, the art gallery is again and with so beautiful paintings, and something very accurate for these times: it has strong lighting, which differs from the fading gloom that is in many hotels as a consequence of the quarantine and pandemic. Lighting means life! I stayed in April, May and August 2021.

Well, the breakfast was OK. The WiFi reception is bad! Only good at the lobby. The location is good and will serve you well for exploring the city. Over all was ok it I will not come back here. I rather be in a place with better breakfast and WiFi. I don’t mind walking..

Very "traditional" hotel, withh spacious rooms, a good range of food offer at breakfast, baggage room etc. Nothing impressive but a very professional offer on the overall. The rooms need a bit of maintenance, especially the bathrooms (also the toiletries are a bit limited) but the overall impression is positive. The position is very centric. WiFi connection has been perfect.

This was our first hotel we stayed out of 6 in Brazil and Argentina. It was also the worst. We arrived at 1100 hrs after a 14 hour flight to say no check in before 1400. Came back at 1400 and our room had a soaking carpet outside the bathroom but no obvious sign of why. Went to reception who said They would send someone in 5 minutes. An hour later went to reception again to be told 5 minutes. At the third time of asking and two hours later we asked for a change of room. In some ways I wished we’d stayed in the damp carpet room. The next room was smaller, and a front door that took many attempts to lock. The bathroom was disgustingly old and stained. We had two nights in this hotel and demanded to our travel agent to find us another hotel when we returned to BA 3 days later. Reception staff were the worst of the six hotels we used. The only saving grace is it’s location which is great for restaurants. Would not recommend this

I'd booked the Centuria Hotel mainly for its central location and reasonable pricing. I was staying four nights before returning to the UK. The location was only spoiled by the fact that the street outside was a favoured location for homeless, and there were very many sprawled out over the footpath all night, and with some throughout the day too. After a fairly quick, slightly impersonal, check-in, I found the room was in a quiet courtyard at first floor level. On entry via the key card I noted the room smelled a bit musty. Also, I was not impressed at first sight re décor, and mainly by security being compromised by a wooden framed sliding window into the courtyard which was unable to be locked, so a 5 yr old could break in. I therefore constantly had to use the safe for the laptop and everything. The bed was ok, and there was good WiFi, although the electrics were a bit dodgy, with visible wires in the awful and poorly lit bathroom, only one working electrical socket in the room, which meant you couldn't charge your devices and watch TV at the same time, but that didn't matter, as there were only Spanish speaking channels. The sheets and towels, which were clean, pretty much all seemed to have holes in them. The breakfast buffet was as basic as could be with the cheapest of everything, including bitter coffee, so a major fail here. I have to assume that they have better rooms, or it wouldn't have got better reviews, but even at budget prices they shouldn't offer rooms in this state.

I came here for a two week stay and by my second day I instantly regretted booking for that long. This hotel was an awful first impression of Buenos Aires. First of all the staff at the reception were so unhelpful and basically rude and were an awful representation of the Argentine people, I learned that not everyone was like those behind the desk. I never came across the likes of it. The first night I arrived I was looking for water and the man at the reception laughed at me and said he did not have water while looking in his jacket. (There was a bar right next to the reception). My room card had to be recharged nearly every day. I felt dirty in the room and bathroom. The roof of my bathroom had holes in it and I could see outside and there were wires and everything. (I was staying in one of the patio rooms). My towels had marks and more holes. The doors didn’t feel very secure. The gym was like something from the eighties. For some reason the tv would turn on at 8am every morning full blast, I thought I was being haunted. Literally the worst hotel I ever stayed in.

This is a kind of "budget hotel". It isn't expensive and their location is superb for business or short visits to Buenos Aires: in midtown, one block away from Av. de Mayo and at walking distance of Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Congreso and Obelisco, and the Av. Corrientes, where all theatres and famous pizza parlours are located. The crew is attentive (and they, or some of them, speak or at least understand Portuguese and English) and resourceful. They serve breakfast (included in the price) and dinner (at extra cost). Not sure if they serve lunch. The breakfast is good, and it includes scrambled eggs and hot ham, which is not usual in Argentina. The wifi worked well, and they have parking in the premises. However, the maintenance of the building is not good at all. Some furniture is broken. The carpet is stained. And they even put worn towels, with holes, in our room!

We paid € 45 per night, and found that was a real good price for the room. The beds are great and really comfortable, staff is helpful, everything's really clean, the bathroom is good and breakfast is pretty nice. Best rest i had in Argentina so far. Recommended!

The hotel is very well located, close to a plenty of restaurants, pubs and there is a carrefour few meters away. The room and bathroom was clean and I asked for a room without carpet because of my allergy. I didn't like the bed, was too soft for me. The mattress was old, after three night sleeping on it I had a really bad back pain. The breakfast is simple, without many choices, but is fresh and is ok.
