I gave this five stars because it delivers the goods at the price they charge. Time has been a bit tough on the Claridge....it’s been 7 years since we were last here and there’s been lots of wear and tear on the couches, woodwork, floors, etc. Still acceptable, but will need refreshing in the near future. Still with luggage storage...

Stayed here with wife and two friends before going on our cruise in January and despite the good reviews I had read, I found the hotel very disappointing. It is in a good location, however, the hotel is very tired and in need of a good renovation, the rooms are clean but tiny with limited wardrobe space and the walls...

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in January prior to boarding a cruise. The rooms are smaller like many big-city hotels but the location was excellent along with the breakfast and the service. To start with, we had a suitcase that had been sent to Sao Paulo instead of Buenos Aires by American Airlines. Much of...

The Claridge Hotel is more than adequate and everything worked so no complaints, however you get the feeling that it has a need for some TLC to freshen it up. Almost colonial in style with a grand lobby and bar and very helpful staff who were only to willing to help resolve an issue with another tour operator, nothing to...

Claridge Hotel, once a landmark of mid 40`s Buenos Aires have been resisting to maintain its orginal status as Latin America's first Luxury Hotel. All the efforts last up to mid 90's when it was bought by a small hotel chain from Spain. Since then, the deterioration of overall installations are visible. The original apartments Chandelier was replaced by pseudo-modern illumination...

Horrible place to stay at! If I could give this a 0/5 rating I would. The hotel is well locates if you are an adventurous traveller. In my case travelling with kids, not so much. Its in a not so nice area, insecurity and poorly lit. The hotel itself lacks maintenance and is poorly cleaned. The walls are paper thin...

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The breakfast in the morning is held in a very beautiful salon and consists of numerous pastries, toasts, fruit, meat and and a few other options that changed daily. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was larger than I expected with two windows. They even have a wall plug...

Pros: It had an exceptional gym, the room A/C was quiet and the accommodating reception allowed late checkouts. Breakfast buffet was above average. Great location a block from lively pedestrian Florida Street and the Galerias Pacifico (good for an A/C break). Cons: Hotel restaurant/bar - overly warm on hot days, indifferent service is very slow and both times we went...
