The location was great. The Gray Line city bus tour (which we wanted to take) had its offices just round the corner. And there was a super steak restaurant (Santos Manjares) just two blocks down the road. The room was excellent. Above all, reception were MOST helpful and enabled us to get out of a dire situation with a faulty booking for a ferry to Colonia. The breakfast was generally good but we were disappointed by the croissants. Reception were brilliant, except on advice about where to get Sube (public transport cards). We went to 18 different places before getting one. It would be a real service if reception could stock them for sale to guests.
Hotel was in seedy/dirty part of Buenos Aires. There was no ice in the hotel for 5 straight days. There was no outside seating/patio area. I had to stand outside to smoke my cigar. This hotel was not worth the $3000.00 plane tickets!
Great location, very friendly staff, big comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. My group stayed in suites 1003 and 1004. Room 1003 has 2 bathrooms but it is smaller, and practically has no wardrobe. Room 1004 has 1 bathroom only but it is more spacious, has wardrobes and a nice living room area.
Very friendly and helpful personal. They helped you any time. Location of the hotel is very comfortable to get everything you needed. According the food is not perfect. Breakfast is good but lunch and dinner supplied from close by restaurant Natacha( quality is medium).
The rooms were very clean and nice. There was a good breakfast with lots of options. I stayed there twice. First time was a normal room but the second time I got a room with a nice large with a kitchen, and separate bedroom which was a surprise bonus. Great location.
Friendly average hotel. Room very good space wise, good air con, with an average standard of bathroom. Had a kitchenette but no pan or kettle to boil water. No tea or coffee. Small fridge. Excellent breakfast ! Location v good for exploring BAires.
The hotel is genuine 2-3 star and their reception female staff require training in customer service in particular dealing with international guests. On the check out it took me 45min instead of 5min and as a result I missed my taxi and had to pay cancellation fee as my driver couldn't wait 45min. I have waited patiently for 15min at the check out when receptionist was explaining a guest various sights to visit in Buenos Aires. Then it took 30min to pay my bill as they had connection problems and as the result and 5 attempts later my bank blocked my card. I had to use another card which also took few attempts. It wouldn't bother me usually but during all these time receptionist insisted on paying cash, was very sarcastic and not apologetic at all! I have been travelling around Brazil, Chile and Argentina for a month and didn't experience such bad customer service but hey its a 3 star hotel after all....…
Comfortable room with good beds and a great shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggested a couple of places we might like and recommended the best way to get there. It is also in a great location for exploring Buenos Airies.
a very warm welcome when you arrived, fluent in English. Room are quite big, clean with air conditioning. Breakfast at 1st floor with nice variety of food. Internet works everywhere, either in the elevator! lobby quite big to wait for your taxi. around the hotel, walking street, 4 blocks from Irish area and the shopping street
We got an Ambassador room that comes with 2 separate rooms inside, each with its own bathroom. Basically it's 2 rooms with a common area. This is an ideal setup for our party of 4 people. The location is good, but we used Uber to get around the city so there was no problem with transportation. There's also a small fridge and a safe. Breakfast was fine and the staff was courteous and friendly. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and I would recommend it.
