Guests enjoy its vibrant atmosphere and the spacious, comfortable rooms, though some have noted the decor could use updating. This hotel is in the Puerto Madero area, which is one of the newer neighbourhood. It is not in the centre of the city but it is easily accessible and is only 15 minutes walk to the Casa Rosada and there are numerous restaurants nearby as well as a Cambio to get any Pesos.
Rooms were good and we had a room overlooking the river and the city. All amenities were present and the room was comfortable.
The lounge access as Diamond member was good and thoroughly enjoyable. On the first night, we were too tired to go out after a long day of travel and the evening canapes were adequate for a meal. The staff in the lounge were excellent and very friendly but the lounge was pretty deserted through the day and got very busy in the evening. Only recommendation I would have is to have better signage of what the food for people with any allergies. Wines were good.
Overall if we go back to Buenos Aires, will definitely stay here again.

We had a complicated itinerary for our 3 ½ week Argentina/Chile/Brazil/Uruguay trip bookended with two 4-night stays at the Hilton Buenos Aires and we could not have selected a better hotel for location, rooms and especially staff.

We called on the assistance of the Concierge Desk several times, and Daniel, Maximilano and Martin could not have been kinder, more patient or more helpful. They went out of their way to help us resolve our travel and transportation issues, and Claudio and Frederico were exceptional in helping us coordinate our check out with our 10:00 pm flight home. Each of these gentlemen are remarkable representatives of Hilton and Hilton Buenos Aires. Even more importantly, they are representative of all of the hotel’s staff we met. Kudos to the Hilton Buenos Aires management for assembling and maintaining such a consistently excellent staff.

Location: Could not be better. On the east side of Buenos Aires half way between Buenos Aires International Airport (EZE) and Buenos Aires Domestic Airport (AEP) in the upscale Puerto Madero district that has grown up around the hotel. Once the main port area of Buenos Aires, it is now a long canal for sailboats and yachts, lined with warehouses converted to upscale restaurants and shops. A safe place to walk any hour of the day. The hotel is just minutes from almost anywhere in the city, either for a short walk or for a less than $10 cab ride.

Cleanliness: This is Hilton. Everything is immaculate.

Over the years, the hotel has been surrounded on three sides by newer buildings that probably obstruct views from room on the first 5 or so floors. If you are a Hilton Honors member, ask for a room on the 8th or 9th (top) floors for easy access to the exemplary Executive Lounge. A junior suite is a good choice.

Extras: Beautiful rooftop pool with large sitting/sunning area and room for dining outside of the Executive Lounge.

Would I stay there again? Without a doubt!

I was staying here on a personal trip for 2 days and found the hotel and location great with one exception which I will note later. My plane actually landed at the airport at 4:30 am and I had politely asked if a room might be available when I arrive. I am also Diamond, so I was hoping that might help but was not expecting it. Once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that they did have a room ready for me and informed me that I could also eat breakfast in the lounge.

I walked into a nicely updated and clean room. The room was spaciously and smelled clean. The bathroom was nice, except I will note that the water tends to pond in the shower and the edges have some mold resulting from this.

The executive lounge was large and next to the pool area as well. I also used the workout facility and it was much larger than others I have seen at Hilton hotels. The only downside to the whole experience was that on the weekends, there is a club next door and with the loud music, I found it hard to sleep. I had a flight at 4 am, so trying to sleep early was really difficult.

We spent one night in this lovely hotel at the end of a cruise.
The Hilton is excellently situated within Puerto Madero with its cafes, restaurants and walking area but within easy reach of the city centre with all its sites.
We had requested early checkin for our arrival at 10 30am. Our 9th floor Executive room was ready when we arrived - and at no extra charge. The room itself was quiet, spacious, lovely view over the canal towards the city, good wardrobe space and general surface space to put things, free Wi fi access. The bed was a tad firm for me - we had twin singles. There were no mattress toppers/softeners available - so I was very glad I had my own travel topper with me.The bathroom had a bidet and toilet, bath, good shower, washbasin but very few toiletries etc.
The Executive Lounge was comfortable with access to a terrace and swimming pool overlooking the city. The breakfast and evening snacks were good but we wished there had been something available at lunchtime.
For us a major strength of this hotel was the friendly helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent right from my initial email contact to the face to face contact during our stay. Thank you to everyone.

The Hilton is located in the Peurto Madera district which is located a ten minute walk from the Oblisk and the Florida shopping district. It is not served by the metro but taxis are plentiful and cheap.
The rooms are large and comfortable with big bathrooms which offer a full size bath and a separate shower. The toilettries are excellent. There is no fridge or minibar but there are facilities for making tea and coffee. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful.
There is a large gym, a sun terrace and a very pleasant pool. I had an excellent stay and my only disappointment was the breakfast which I did not think came up to the usual high Hilton standard.

I have not stayed at lots of other hotels in Buenos Aires in the past, but my previous stays at Anselmo (Curio) and at Park Hyatt have not been entirely satisfactory so this time I tried Hilton. I quite liked the neighborhood and I also found service to be proactive and staff having a “can do” attitude so I can recommend this hotel.

The location of Park Hyatt is considered excellent by many people but personally I think it’s best for a couple who want late night dining and upscale shopping. Now we have a baby in tow so I found the area around Hilton to be a better fit with lots of restaurants and terraces open all afternoon rather than have inflexible dining hours.

Our junior suite was very bright thanks to a large window on the entire length of our top floor (9th) room with some sea views, and the hardwood floor helped the room sustain the test of time better than if it had too much carpet. The walk-in closet was very large and could handle our numerous suitcases.

The executive lounge was a stand-out at this hotel. Most importantly the lounge was not overly crowded like many hotels tend to be these days, there were sitting areas indoors and outdoors, and they also had a billiards table.

We had breakfast both in the restaurant and in the lounge during our stay in order to compare (until 10:30am during the week, 11am on weekends). The choices in the restaurant were more varied and had many dishes not typically found in the plain vanilla Hilton breakfasts (outside Asia), such as basmati rice, blueberries, and more veggies than most buffets. I would not say the restaurant was a chaotic zoo but it was not that easy to find an open table.

In contrast the lounge was far more peaceful and enjoyable, but as expected choices more limited. That said it did not feel like they simply made a cheaper version of breakfast; I found it to be an appropriate breakfast.

As mentioned above, service was excellent for a hotel of this level. I was welcomed at reception by a manager, during the stay the hotel was in contact via SMS to ask about feedback, and service in the lounge was very good as well with several proactive offers to refill drinks. There was a bit of a hiccup regarding billing at the end of our stay but once again they offered to have a manager call me in the room to explain what went wrong which was a nice gesture. Last but not least, housekeeping was done exactly at the time we requested, which tends to be a problem at some hotels post-covid.

Overall for the price paid I think Hilton is good value for the money compared to the previous alternatives I stayed at in BsAs so I give thumbs up to this hotel especially for Diamond guests who might score a suite upgrade and will benefit from the above average lounge with good service.

This Hilton was such a great place to stay! The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was absolutely perfect. It’s about a 10 min walk to the subte (subway), but we ended up just taking taxis around because that was not expensive and fast. The Hilton told the taxi the location to take us and the taxis used the meters. The furthest we went was Palermo, which was around 350 pesos.

We enjoyed running on the path that connects the bridges along the hotel. It was really nice to walk to dinner as there are tons of restaurants and bars nearby. Very nice area and felt really safe. We met a couple that stayed in the Recoleta area and they talked about how crowded it felt. This area was perfect as it is pretty quiet, although the restaurants are quite expensive in the area.

Other perks about this hotel:
+ Great pool that was heated w/ a lifeguard
+ Executive lounge - relaxing, easy for breakfast and nightly wine

The only negative is that the privacy door hangs literally fall off every time you open the door, which was so annoying. Haha

Highly recommend this hotel!

This Hilton in the Puerto Madero area which makes it convenient to all the main attractions in the part of the city that many tourists plan to visit. The area is great for walking and exploring the many shops and restaurants nearby, without having to take a taxi ride to get somewhere. The staff are very helpful in arranging transportation for you and go some length to make sure that you are not ripped off by taxi drivers. The area seems very secure and we had no issues with being bothered by panhandlers etc. The lobby is spectacular and the room we had was quite nice and very clean

We stayed at the Hilton in Puerto Madero on the tail end of our trip starting on New Years Eve. Our rooms were ready when we arrived which was great. The first room my husband and I were assigned had a bad chemical smell. We notified the front desk and they immediately gave us a new room. Second room was perfect. Very spacious. One downside is no rooms have a balcony but the hotel has a terrific roof deck pool area which makes up for it. We stayed on the executive floor and loved the lounge for breakfast, water, coffee and cocktails. Staff was very attentive, welcoming and helpful. It is a great location for New Years Eve because it is right next to the waterfront where all the fireworks go off at midnight. We loved being able to do that and walk to all the restaurants. The fitness center was really large with plenty of equipment. We really enjoyed the pool. Since it was the holidays the hotel was decorated very nicely for Christmas and New Years.

This is the first time staying at this hotel and the overall experience was excellent! The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and attentive! The room was clean and comfortable! The breakfast buffet was good with selections to pick from! The hotel is located in excellent location with many restaurants to pick from and good area to take evening walks as well as during the day. Close to cruise port, it's about least than two miles! The hop on hop off bus stop is located across street from the hotel. The bus only takes cash! Plenty of Security in the area! Exchange house just a half block away. He had a great stay! Plenty of sites within walking distance.
