An interesting hotel in central Buenos Aires. Don't let the tiny reception and ground floor put you off. The rooms are more than adequate. At about £50 per night it's good value for a stay in BA. The breakfast is ok basically bread but that is standard in Argentina.

Staff were quite unhelpful, initially telling me that I could not check in because I had not printed out the booking reference they sent me - despite there being no instruction to do so. When I checked out they tried to charge me for a large amount of food in the minibar, although not once had I touched it. The...

This hotel is excellent value for money. OK some of the furnishings might be a bit dated but the quality of the bedding and linen was excellent. We stayed on 2 occasions and reception was friendly but seemed disorganised. Eventually the booking was found and out room allocated. The location is great and there are banks, supermarkets and mini stores...

Despite the amazing location, everything else was awful at this hotel. Really old furniture, it was even hard to breath at our room due to so much dust and bad air, our reservation was a mess (two single beds, no breakfast, everything different from what we booked). Staff was really rough.... Not a single good memory of this poor hotel....

After having spent 3 weeks in brazil and staying in some pretty ordinary hotels this hotel was a welcome retreat. A little tired but very good size rooms and everything seems to work and rooms are clean and staff helpful. Enjoyed the stay

After 24 hours' flying from Singapore, I anticipated I'd need comfortable accommodation. Mayflower did not disappoint. My entire stay there - including retreating back after a horrid experience at another hotel - was thoroughly pleasant. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and happy to speak English if need be. The rooms are somewhat old world and of a good standard...

Location and price. This hotel covered my expectations. Stayed with wife for 3 nights and spent most of the days outside, visiting family and shopping. Therefore, all I needed was a place to spend the night in a clean room. And that's exactly what I got. After considering other options, I don't think this choice was the wrong one. Yes,...

The Mayfliwer suites isn't all it seems. I stayed here this week and expected more as the website looked good, but it is very dated, a bit shabby and well past it's best. However, it had a good location in Centro, it is clean and the staff are friendly. It's not cheap, but given the prices in Buenos Aures I...
