Very good value. Room doesn't have many amenities other than a TV and a safe. Decoration is classic. Great bed. Shades were perfect (I usually complain about sunlight). Staff members were friendly. Breakfast was good (mostly medialunas, cookies, great coffee, two options of juice). The location is very convenient. I'd definitely stay there again.
We stayed at Cyan Americas Towers, Buenos Aires, at the beginning and end of our trip to Argentina. The location was very good for exploring BA. There were some good restaurants within walking distance too. The hotel arranged a taxi for us from the airports to the hotel and this all worked out well. (Four trips by taxi in all). The room was air conditioned, clean and a reasonable size. The decor was slightly old but not shabby. The breakfast was basic but ok and fresh food was put out regularly and the dirty dishes cleared away except one morning ( a Saturday) when the staff didn't seem particularly in attendance (the dishes were left on vacant tables, the food variety seemed smaller eg there was no fruit, which there had been the other days). Overall, a pleasant stay.
I stayed there for a weekend. The pictures seemed good. I arrived late and they gave me my room. Even though the rugs were dirty I didn't mind. I get to my room and the mattress had a hole. Impossible to get a good night sleep, let alone the weekend. I called downstairs and they changed me to another room. This one with three twin beds. I was so tired but decided to take it. When I went to the bathroom, I lift the toilet seat and it was so dirty. I will not go into details. I called downstairs and he tried to convince me that it was that blue sanitizer they put on toilets. No, it wasn't. You can imagine what it was. I stayed there and left early in the morning to a better hotel. No apology, no returning of my money. Nothing. Do not stay there it is definitely not what you see in the pictures....and that is not saying much...but it is very disgusting.…
The longer we stayed the more we liked the hotel. Very helpful desk service and a very good breakfast. (finally a buffet breakfast with eggs that were NOT overcooked) Convenient location for all the activities we had planned. I would not hesitate to book again.
We stayed 4 nights and were very happy with the service, room and breakfast. The English speaking staff were helpful. We were able to hail taxis easily right in front of the hotel, but it’s an easy walk to several places, including restaurants. The pool was small and not too appealing. The breakfast featured something for everyone. The yogurt is more like a Yop drink. We were very happy with this hotel.
Rough hotel that has not been renovated for many, many years. Should be a 2 star hotel. Dirty, door locks didn’t work, elevators didn’t work, staff in reception couldn’t speak English, breakfast very basic like at a hostel. We couldn’t lock our door to the room and had to leave in the evening with an unlocked door. The other couple had problem with their door as well. It was like a joke. Choose another hotel if you want a pleasant hotel, it is plenty of others to choose between.
Just visited Buenos Aires, love this city, the people, the restaurants , the shopping , the places. We stayed at Americas Towers Hotel, used to come to this hotel a lot few years ago, I would say like 10 years ago. Back then was a lot better, this time I was disappointed. Rooms are ok but you can notice lack of maintenance, bathroom was dirty, breakfast very basic. I have to mention that the staff was nice and ready to help if needed. Said that, I think there are others options in the area, next time I will try one of those hotels instead.
Booked a standard room which was clean and decent size with safe etc. Clean bathroom but the shower pressure/head was not very good. Nice continental breakfast helpful reception staff. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Walking distance to monument and Florida street shopping.
Hotel in good location but in need of refurbishment. Reception staff quite helpful and told us about city tour and tango dinner experience both of which were excellent. Room and bed very comfortable. Pool area scruffy with nowhere to sit in shade. Breakfast just OK, lots of cake and bread including soggy croissants. You can get food there in the evening but the café bar is operated by people other than the hotel so you can't add to hotel bill and they only accept cash. Not open every night we were there.
I have been to many hotels in Buenos Aires over the years, including 5 star plus hotels, but have found that overall this hotel offers everything I could want . It is right in the center within walking distance to many amenities such as Teatro Colòn, it is professionally managed with very kind staff at the reception and it has something I find indispensable in BA, a swimming pool which is now immaculately kept. The rooms are large and modernized, the common areas are large , the gym is well appointed, the only issue I had was that the breakfast selection is not as good as in previous years , with only 2 hot dishes offered, and not particularly delicious either. I pointed this out to reception and they acted immediately , the breakfast was a little better. Shall definitely return.…
