The room itself is a little rundown. They put me in a room next to the elevator, which was extremely noise so I spent nights listening to it going up and down. When I was leaving I asked them to call me a taxi, but they sent me a car without any sign, without the machine to tell you how much it costs, and the driver wanted to charge me a fortune once we got to the airport. I refused, he told he'd complain with the hotel (who never told me this was going to be a fixed price, I had asked for a TAXI!) and now the hotel is charging my credit card the difference. SCAMMERS!!!!
Honestly the only good thing in this place is the location and the matter that they do have a garage within their facilities. Otherwise... it is very sad. Large rooms and bathrooms with absolutely no decoration what so ever, not a single picture on the walls, no electric sockets near the beds. the spring box was a single bed size and the mattress a queen, so edges were overlapping. the bathroom ceiling had suffered some kind of incident (fire probably) and was poorly fixed. Big basins but no space to set your toiletries. Minimum closet space. Minibar is there, containing 4 bottles of water. Elevators were functioning sometimes only. I had to use the stairs five times during my three days stay. This place seems to work fine to accommodate large student groups. If you are travelling as a couple or family I do not recommend it. Breakfast could evidently be better. there are a number of products , all of very low quality, cutlery is scarce, and so are cups, decoration is NILL. Not a nice way to begin the day, avoid it.…
we stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. as is advertised is a 4* hotel.. but is far from it. The lobby is new but rooms are far away from it. Rooms are Big, but old, the air conditioner is so old that even doesnt have remove control. and makes a huge noise. The toilet is also old, the ceiling is plastic (one of the nights it fell down and we needed to call them to fix it) for some reason, there was a door to the room next to us that was "locked" but from the knob you could see ALL from the room next to us... we need to put some towels to get some privacy. Due to poor situation of room we was offered another room. but to be honest, it was exactly the same. To complete our experience, we informed on reservation and on check it, we will be paying CASH, to do not use my Credit card, since it was a debit card ... of course they tried to charge ALL the 6 nights on my card !!!!! without informing me (we did speak the same language!) I'm still waiting the manager to give me some explanation, since i made it clear i wanted to complain with manager... And to finalize. the breakfast is really poor... we didnt even bother to have our breakfast there.... ahh small detail, we needed to call the reception many times since internet was not working as well…
Miserable Service, they used my credit card without my authorization and without informing me, the management is corrupted. DIrty, noisy rooms, very old equipment (the noise of the AC won't allow you to sleep). The management is ineffective and disrespectful (I asked to arrange a defect in the toilet on December 29 because it was losing water, producing noise and finally became an overflowing affecting the whole room. The miserable and disrespectful management took 6 days in fixing it. Also there was an electrical shortcut in one of the lights and it took them 6 days to arrange it. The employees are mistreated by the management and 2 of them resigned during my stay at this fake and decadent hotel
This hotel is very basic in what it offers, the rooms are sparse, old fashioned but clean. The shower was excellent. Weather was mild when I was there so cant comment on the air con. The fridge did start to rattle in the night and I had to turn it off. There are no facilities, it claims to have a gym but this is three items of poor quality manual equipment in a basement that don't look like they have been used in months. The location is good there are lots of places to eat very close by. The breakfast is like the rooms, basic but does the job. The only place I have stayed where Bacardi is one of the drink option on the breakfast table!
Stayed here quite a few times- last week for 6 nights- and unfortunately each time it got worse. Rooms are quite hot and aircon (provided it is working) transfers all its energy into noise, not cooling. WiFi is laughable and no connection at all on 10th floor. Rooms are dated; the mattresses even more so. Asked for beer in the minibar (usually only water is available) and been charged the remaining untouched 6 beer & 4 water bottles ("...we had to buy them for you, Sir..."). Oh dear. Walls are rather thin but great if you want to enjoy your room neighbours' TV programme (or the "other" programme). Reception staff couldn't really be bothered; breakfast OK but nothing to write home about, either. The area isn't spectacular but conveniently located from AEP airport. This place has been reasonably good value a few years back but now it is just sub- standard and not worth considering. For a little more, there are much nicer hotels available.…
I've stayed here twice now. Both for visits to the university. Apparently this is where folks are recommended to stay. I would say that the hotel is reasonable. The rooms are fine but perhaps could use some updating in general. Expect something akin to a Motel 8 in the states. Internet is fine but sometimes intermittent. wifi on all floors. there are also 2 desktops in the lobby for guest use. Breakfast consists of croissants and some sliced meats and cheese. After a few days you might want a change. Fortunately, the place is next to a major avenue called Cabilda. there are many stores along this road. there is also a Carrefour supermarket nearby on Cabilda. Noise can be an issue but this depends on how tolerant a person is. but there is serious traffic on cabilda. in terms of access, the subway also runs along cabilda. The stop closest to the hotel is a block away around the corner and is the last stop i believe along the green line -called congreso de tucuman. its about a 20 minute subway ride downtown. overall, given the price, i can see myself staying here again. the staff were pretty friendly and the place was -as the title of this review suggests -pretty reasonable.…
This hotel is located in Belgrano Buenos Aires and is a sleek modern hotel. The courtesy extended to my wife and I was unbelievable. The room was large and very clean. I enjoyed a restful night on a good and firm mattress. Breakfast was adequate.
My friends in Mendoza recommended this hotel (they have stayed a few times). Room was comfortable and clean - maybe a bit outdated and showing some wear and tear but I was fine with that. While off the main road there was still some street noise (I was on the 7th floor) but I accepted that was probably just a buenos aries thing. Hotel is conveniently located 5mins walk from the subway/metro and because its the "end of the line" there's no way you can miss your stop! Also has some good tourist destinations on the metro line. Breakdast comes with the price and its tne usual food. Reception staff were generally helpful although I found english was a bit limited at times.
Due cancellation of our flight by Aerolineas Argentinas we were accommodated in this hotel. It is very modest, far away from all attraction in Buenos Aires, ar conditioning very loud and not working well and not clean. The night staff was not friendly and the breakfast very poor. There are lots of better options in Buenos Aires.
