Unfortunately, it wasn't what we expected... We imagined a cozy, elegant hotel, but it wasn't what we found. We stayed at FAENA this weekend, me, my husband and my daughter. We stayed in room 118. In this room the acoustics are very bad... It's right above the bar/restaurant and people are smoking and talking on the sidewalk, making it super difficult to sleep. The hotel areas are more for events than for guests... What we have left for us to stay on a rainy day is a bench in the middle of the hallway. The bar, for events... The restaurants, very limited access. We had dinner at the El Mercado restaurant, an empty restaurant, we had a reservation for 3 people at 7:30 pm. Only 3 tables occupied. We sat down and placed a bag and two bags on the fourth chair. The attendant came to ask us to take our things off the chair because they needed it... IN AN EMPTY RESTAURANT WITH ONLY 3 TABLES... We took off our things, what to do... Until the end of dinner at 8:30 pm, the restaurant remained empty... They didn't use the chair... Only God can understand. But this is the profile of the employees, as well as the hotel, cold, arrogant, not very focused on the customer. We will never came back. I prefer the warm and polite service found in 5-star hotels in Recoleta. …

We had very high expectations and considered Faena to be a Top hotel option in Buenos Aires. Unfortunately we were wrong. Expect to pay an above premium price for a below average experience. To begin with the wait staff are not properly trained, they are not polite nor are they available unless you tip them first and in dollars in found. One drink at the library bar will cost you $18,700 pesos each drink, so if you pay with at credit card that amounts to approx. $52.00 usd. Our laundry bill was $147,000, apex $420.00 usd. for 15 items which 10 shrunk due to high heat washing machines. The hotel is located in a nice safe area of Buenos Aires but there are much more better and new options. Faena used to be a beautiful stylsih place to stay, now I believe they are below expectations. …

Excellent place to stay. We like the food, the personal and the room. The spa experience was very good, girls there were amazing too. The building needs more maintenance. On our way to the spa we had to walk thru not too nice areas. Bar show is cool but short. Asado on weekends is amazing. Diana the receptionist is warm, profesional and great.

Very nice stay at Faena Buenos Aires!! Rooms and suites are very spacious & beautiful, the staff is really nice, appreciating welcome amenities in the room and the welcome drink at the bar. Loving the eccentric and lavish style of the hotel designed by Philippe Starck 😍 The swimming pool is heated and it’s a really cool place to relax in the centre of Buenos Aires. I really recommend this hotel if you are travelling to BA.

Faena BA does not disappoint, only wish it was warm enough to have enjoyed the outdoor pool. Restobar is great, staff is friendly, style is on point. Area of BA also is very safe and very clean, strongly recommend!

The hotel is overrated, the shower temperature has great variations and you will burn your back. The restaurant Mercado , is very slow , and the waiter said they would not prepare anything without lactose, and I have a lactose intolerance. He said everything was already prepared so that they could not make changes. I will not return, and if you have food alergies avoid it. The bar was not full and I had to wait 25 min for a gin tonic….

Hotel is beautiful decorated the rooms are amazing. Everyone is very helpful and nice. Especially Marina and Francisco which help us to make our experience wonderful. Will come back for sure. The brunch at El Mercado restaurant is amazing. The only bad thing was my husband and my son wanted to go in the pool but they didn’t let them.

Beautiful hotel with heated outdoor pool. Very elegant with very attentive staff. There are a few restaurants here and the food is very good. However, the Italian restaurant, in our opinion, is lacking in ambience and misses the boat with music. Yikes. Regardless, we enjoyed our meal and I recommend it for the food. We would definitely stay here again.
