Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.

Still a stylish and friendly place but a bit dated. Very helpful and friendly personnel, nice and stylish pool area. The live music in the bar is oddly displaced - more a "we seek young talents show" than entertainment for grown-ups. Our stay (after eight nights) ended on a sligh

We had a wonderful stay at the Faena last week, and we were very sorry to leave. The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the service was exquisite. A special recognition must go to Victor, a guest experience manager, who was always there to make our stay wonderful - his attent

We stayed here after our Antartica trip and we were exhausted, they give us a super tiny room so we went back down and requested to upgrade, after we waited 20 min we got another room and this was bigger and nicer but as soon as I open the curtains we saw the dead birds right out

I found this apartment inside the hotel for less than half the price. Can somebody confirm it? Faena hotel master suite by starck
Hi. I have only stayed at Faema once and it was in the actual hotel proper. While doing my research regarding the stay, I discovered that Faema sold a small tower of condos (or at least whatever their version was) right across the street under the Faema brand, and probably some units within the hotel core itself. So I am supposing that these less expensive options are inventory owners not using the rooms are putting into play for prospective guests. So long as you can enjoy the restaurants and pool in the main property 100 feet away, andI believe you can, I am almost certain that this is an excellent option. I almost took the chance with one of those units but decided because of a 2 for 1 price break I got on a standard room, I went traditional route. So in a sense, I guess you can think about your deal is kind of like an Air BnB in the Faena context. Please let me know how it turns out as I am coming back next year and would like to try a less expensive option at Faena. Great location in Puerto Madera i.e. restaurants and shopping. Relatively safe versus other neighborhoods.

Hi! How was the weather in June? Contemplating a short stay during that month - was it crowded, cool, visually challenging because it's fall? Thank you so much!!
Hi. It is the very end of their Fall (opposite season than US) so it will be in the mid to high 50s Fahrenheit. Certainly but freezing but jacket weather and many days cloudy or a little rain. The town is not more crises than usual. It is not my personal favorite time to visit (I tend to like BA when it is warmer) but it is indeed a beautiful place to visit. At least you'll be there for world famous opera and some soccer.

My client is looking for a quiet romantic hotel, as opposed to a "a plastic surgery tech beat pumping “Real Housewives” vibe". Would this hotel fit the bill? Seeing comments of it being hip with a trendy clientele makes me wonder...
Muito tranquilo e romântico, difícil encontrar outro em Buenos Aires que garanta estas qualidades

Is ther an iron and ironing board in the room?
No, there was no iron/ironing board. I called the operator each day and asked for a set. I believe they must be in short supply (or the demand was high), as I would leave the set in my room only to find it gone later in the day (this happened 3x during my 6 day stay). It was not too off-putting, but would have been a nice amenity.
