Do not trust in the staff, as they are lying. I asked an old receptionist, how much is a metered taxi ride to the airport, and he lied, that he don't know... but offered me the hotel's shuttle service (for double price). The hotel is very dirty I even saw homeless people in the public toilet. The minibar was not working, everything was hot in there. The wifi is not working properly. Positive is the price, its a cheap hotel, the location, and also the breakfast was good.

is in the city center, the pictures on the site make it seam big, and upgraded, which is all the contrary, the rooms are old and dingy, and it seams as if they don't care about their customers, we checked in at the evening and the front desk people where rude, and the parking lot is narrow, humid and dificult to go in and out. It's bad advertisement. Stay away you can get a better deal else where.

Checking in was a disaster as person at desk helped people around us while we were standing in front of him so check in took a long time. Room is old and neglected. We got a room with a balcony and there were weeds in pots with the plant roots growing into the paint, balcony furniture also broken Pillows were tiny and flat Furniture in room was worn The breakfast was the same and didn’t change in the days we stayed, pastries were nice but hot food was bland .. the toast machine needs a big clean. Pictures of this are from a long time ago as they are not what you get Management needs to do a BIG renovation, everything is old, damaged and dirty Not worth the $$$$

I have just come back from a 7 day stay at his hotel. There are a lot of bad comments on here , however i did not see that in my stay. I agree the hotel could do with a lick of paint, but the breakfast room was very, clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent , big selection of food, cakes ,breads, drinks, cereals and cooked food. The staff were very friendly and helped me out when i found a few isues. The staff member that stands out the most is Sean , he was so polite he helped me with my Spanish , he greated me every morning and whenever i saw him around the hotel. I found the cleaning to be to a good standard, my room was cleaned every day with towels refreshed. I thanked house keeping after my cleaned my room and they were so happy. I had a great stay at this hotel, i agree that there are some issues that need to be looked at. However the price , the location and the views out do the issues inside the hotel. Would i return? Yes i would?

The Hotels location is very good, but the hotel is old and rusty! When I got to my room found NAILS on the carpet and table next to the bed! HORRIBLE experience. In the morning I did not have hot water when I showered and it was freezing. WIFI did not work for me, not even once! Choose a different hotel, do yourself a favor.

The hotel is old and smells bad. Old carpets on the floor look very very dirty. Very impersonal atmosphere at the reception. Internet was down and nobody seemed to care to fix it. My room was noisy. Will never go back.

An oldish hotel that is in need of a good upgrade - needs some TLC … but makes up for some shortcomings with its incredible location - you could not ask for a better location in BA. A magnificent Avenue, shops, bars, restaurants - tours … name it - they're there. Value for money - and nice staff... while it could certainly do with a good spruce up - i'd go again anytime.

*Room* I was issued room #411 -as a non-smoker, this was not an acceptable room. The sheet it that room has cigarette burns to it. Went to the front desk requested a non-smoking room and was issued room 616. The room was ok - the beddings was nothing near lush. The room was dated (old) and much upgrades are needed to the bed, bathroom, air conditioning unit and closets. The toilet and shower worked well and were very powerful with plenty of HOT water to go around. The shower easily became flooded if not controlled but would easily run off when the water is turned off. *Breakfast* Though not expected, breakfast was included. The breakfast area was very clean, and like the lobby, very presentable and spacious! The options were eggs, ham, loaves of bread, sausage/cheese, cakes, cereals, yogurt, orange/grapefruit juice, 2 espresso machines, and a few more offerings. *Parking* Free parking is available on site. As parking is in a very confined area beneath the building, you will need to have had good driving skills. *Location* 35 minutes away from the EZE airport and in the heart of Buenos Aires - just go left or right! *** It should be noted that my expectations were high - because I had made my booking based on location, photos, free parking and not reviews. ***

Front desk were very helpful and cheerful. For a week long stay, a decent sized double bed room with more than adequate wardrobe space. Also an in-room safe. Kept spotless by the house maid. Bathroom abit dated but more than adequate. Again, spotless. Our room faced onto the main Avenue with a view of the Obelisk. Pretty quiet and exterior noise was not a problem for us. As expected, the t.v. channels were in the Spanish language but there was one English language movie channel. The included breakfast was exceptional. Hot eggs, bacon etc. Choice of pastries. Cold meats and cheeses. Juices, milk etc. Yoghurt, Cereals,. Good variety of fresh fruit. Toaster + jams, Good coffee making machine making good coffee. Choice of teas including English breakfast. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great way to start your day. Our included shuttle from the airport was actually a taxi. The driver was there to meet us in the arrivals lounge and he dropped us off at the hotel. He also took all of our bags into the hotel. Absolutely no complaints from us. Location was excellent. Right across the road from the National Theatre and a major tango venue, banks and other services. Turn left out of the hotel and within 50 metres there is a major pedestrian "car free" avenue full of shops, all types of restaurants , cafe's etc. Restaurants are much cheaper than in North America. 50% or more cheaper. Taxi's are plentiful and cost efficient but remember, only use metered cabs. The hop on/hop off bus is a really good way to get your bearings. We got a two day pass. As with all major cities, pick pockerts and thieves are a genuine problem. Please do not wear gold/silver chains, bracelets or other jewellery, expensive watches etc as we are their targets. Again , whether in Buenos Aires, Paris, Rome, London etc. do be aware and take sensible precautions and you should not become a target and victim. A suggestion for this hotel : Earlier check-in as most flights from North America, Europe etc. arrive around 8.00 to 9.00 a.m. Check-in was not until 3.00 p.m. . After travelling for 19 odd hours from Vancouver you are exhausrted and to sit around for another 5 or 6 hours waiting for your room is irritating. We must add that the hotel really tried to assist us and we got into our spotless room at 1.00 p.m. .

The decor might be out-dated but the service was Excellent, they booked tours and transport and tango shows for us. very good breakfast. Pay the extra and get a superior double room with obelisk view on a high floor, you have a 180 degree view at day and night. There were police visibility in the area which is a very central area, we felt very safe. Close to shops and restaurants. Hotel arranged a taxi every time we left the hotel. We got a bucket of ice every night. Close to theatres.
