The hotel is on the fringes of the Retiro district opposite the national rail station. It’s a very busy area but round this hotel it’s very run down . Evidence of homeless and beggars. The street the hotel is on is narrow and dark and due...More
This hotel was rather a disappointment, being tired, dated and very average. The entrance is nice, though nothing remarkable, with two lifts which are tiny and hold a max 4 persons. We found reception staff most helpful, assisting us with a couple of non-hotel related...More
I live in Buenos Aires, but sadly don't have a pool in my building so periodically in the summer I will stay in local hotels for a weekend to enjoy the facilities. I chose Feir's Park because it was affordable and had an outdoor pool....More
Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was extremely spacious and well equipped. There was a supermarket across the road which was convenient.
Although the room was air conditioned, the corridors, fitness centre and restaurant weren’t.
Breakfast was good with a good variety.

Stayed here for three nights pre cruise. The location is pretty good with easy access to most places. Our room was huge and whilst very comfortable it lacked any free tea/coffee/water. The balcony doors were hard to open as they were baulked by the curtain...More
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

We hired a taxi from one of the taxi companies that are inside the airport tucked in a corner. We were told the one just outside was more expensive. They all post their flat rate price in US dollars and Argentinian. We picked the lowest and prepaid with visa. I think it was about $30 US. It worked well.
