This is probably as much an indictment of Argentina as it is a bad review of the hotel, because Argentina used to be my favorite place to visit. Just in the past few years, it's gone WAY downhill with the 'socialist' or 'populist' or whatever...More

Same quality as expected, very good indeed. Good attention, good food. Would like to have a bigger lobby, since it does not fit that well, seems too small for my expectations. But overall, very good, specially for business travel.

We are very proud to know that you have enjoyed an excellent stay with us. You are welcome to come again to Park Tower Buenos Aires.
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

I would be careful walking around too much without getting guidance from the concierge. I say that because one night we decided to walk back from the mall and our GPS took us behind the hotel on a street that ran parallel to the main street that the hotel is on and it was very scary. It was about 6 pm at night and dark. Thankfully, a security guard to another building allowed us to cut through otherwise I have no idea what would have happened. Also, we were told by a local that a park near our hotel was dangerous. So just ask the concierge where you should and shouldn't walk.
