Good location, nice the breakfast was included and has an attached cafe, a furnished lobby with one computer station. We had a 3 person room with a balcony on the street. It was spacious and the window had a shutter to help with light and noise. However, the heat is central so you can't control it. The front desk turned ours off in the middle of night so we were freezing and had to call to have it turned back on. We could never figure out the (huge) television. Liked it had a room safe, ample closet storage, extra blankets and pillows in the room. The bathroom had a very small step in which was great for my friend, but they tile was slick as ice when it got wet (she almost fell) and there was no place to put your toiletries in the shower. The grout had mold and sometimes the toilet would either not flush at all or wouldn't stop running. Convenient to have a grocery store just across the street but our room didn't have any kind of kitchen or refrigerator, etc. The front desk was friendly and helpful though all did not speak English. And, we weren't told that if you don't turn in your room key when you're out and about the maid won't come by. It took us several days to get that figured out. They do have elevators and free wifi. We got our own taxis (plenty pass by the hotel) so I'm not sure if the hotel offers a service.…
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On the positive side the location is good and the rooms are clean. I addition to that, the front desk folks were incredibly helpful. The negative is it is an older hotel and the single rooms are tiny. This is a great landing spot for a night or two. It was just me and I was in a single room for 4 nights and it was just too small. Definitely don’t book two people for a single room. Overall for the price I would recommend,
Very well located in Ricolletta, the best place in BAOld fashion hotel, but clean, Friendly staff.Internet connection was below average. No fridge, no twin bed available, small room.Included breakfast was OK.Close from buses and supermarket.
What a find! The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and well-tended, and the location in Recoleta is hard to beat. It's within walking distance of Recoleta Cemetery, the Museo de Bellas Artes, shopping, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the Ayacucho Palace Hotel at the start and the end of our month's travelling around Argentina. It is a great base, it's easy to travel around B'Aires from here and everyone is friendly and welcoming - which is what you need when you arrive confused and most Spanish forgotten! I really do recommend it, we had a lovely stay here.
