Very good location close to Opera house. Small rooms without temperature controls, scarce breakfast, friendly service. Highly recommend La Continental pizzeria around the corner, perfect espanadas. Also good shops on Santa Fe nearby
This is not the type of review that I would’ve liked to have written. The hotel is centrally located. I have, however, stayed at other CYAN hotels and had been quite pleased even during this trip. Number one. One cannot control the temperature. It is central air conditioning and apparently you can only control the speed of the fan. Number two. The breakfast was horrible. We spent three nights there and on the last day, we simply went to eat at a nearby restaurant where the breakfast did NOT include dry hard bread and Unpalatable coffee. The ham, scrambled eggs were truly terrible. The fruits were OK. Number three. The pool did not appear to be clean. It was cloudy with leaves and some of the few people in it we’re jumping in without first washing. Not even the faintest chlorine odor was noted. Number four. The valuable lock box, which is a must for any traveller, did not function. I will say that the bar was adequate. I recommend you spend at least $10 per night and hopefully not be disappointed. I later moved to a different hotel. …
We arrived in the late evening and had just an overnight stay before departing again the next morning. A dinner-bow was prepared for us. A very nice gesture - the Sandwich was great, the chicken on it just not properly cooked. Removing the chicken it was a nice quick snack before sleep. Bed was very comfortable - after a 36 hours flight, just the right thing to have. The door to the room was difficult to open, I went twice back to the Reception to ask for assistance. Breakfast was basic but good. Nothing posh but actually not bad. Exactly what to expect in South American Hotels.
Well located , good sized room, comfortable bed, bathroom a bit cramped and needs updating, express mini market across the road for snacks and water and a cheap laundromat nearby was very good , breakfast buffet was ok, wifi was not great, friendly, helpful staff
This hotel is located in a central area of the city, very convenient and comfortable to go back and forth from the city hot spots. Rooms are outdated, noisy and not so clean. Breakfast is confused and overcrowded until a point you cannot find a sit.
I am a Tour Manager and I was a guest at Cyan de las Americas Hotel together with my group from May 14th till May 17th 2019. I wish to the thank all the Staff for the very kind and efficient service to all of us. This is a hotel which I highly recommend! Sincerely, John Pezza
Although it has 4 stars printed in the hotel’s sign, the facility needs to be refurbished and the room I stayed is just like a Youth Lodge with three beds lacking electronic powers to charge my mobile phones.
We stayed at this hotel one night and after 8 days in others places, two nights. There were some issues with the Wifi on the first stay - apparently the info had not been updated in the system so we could not log in. It worked fine on the second stay. The room I got on the first stay was nice, the second stay gave me a different room which was a bit more worn. But not a big deal. Breakfast was good, standard for the country/area. Housekeeping helped me at the day of my leaving when the elevator was broken and let me use the staff elevator so I could get my luggage down to reception. I was able to get my luggage before check-in and after check-in with no problems. There was a bit of noise from the outside and from the elevator (which my first room was just across from) but that is par for the course for the location. In general, I was satisfied with this hotel and its location.…
We spent two days. Excellent location closer to Colon Theater, Pizzurno Palace, Ateneo Library, Santa Fe Avenue, Recoleta Cementery, Rooms are clean, good services and amenites at reasonable price rate. Excelelnt breakfast
Large rooms with reasonable amenities. Breakfast not the best but the coffe is good. Front desk staff not over helpful. But with all this it is a great location and if you use it as a base and a place to lay your head before going out for the tourist day it's fine
