Detailed Reviews
It was exactly what I wanted and expected from an Ibis hotels. I've stayed in other Ibis hotels in Europe and so I had an idea of what to expect. No frills but it was nice and clean and looked recently updated. The bathroom in particular was nice clean. When I travel, I'm just looking for a nice, centrally located hotel to store my stuff while I'm out sightseeing and enjoying the city and the hotel was exactly that. There is a Hop on-Hop off bus stop just on the other side of the park and a fair number of restaurants in walking distance or a short Uber ride away. The breakfast was a decent spread with pastries, eggs and deli meats that I'd expect for most hotels like this. Also, a very strong wifi signal which was nice to be able to stream a show in the evening and relax after a full day of exploring the city. Not much of a view but that wasn't big on my list for this trip. Also, the mattress was on the stiff side which I didn't mind but just something to be aware of if you like a softer mattress. Overall, the hotel delivered exactly the experience and stay I was looking for my trip.

One of the few affordable chain hotels in a prime location on the Congress. Hotel has heavy renovation needs, management is present, helps whenever possible to remedy the shortcomings and stands by with advice. Furniture worn out, beds too soft for me, long lift waiting times, breakfast buffet monotonous, repetitive. BUT: if you like me pay via agency "only" USD 43 per night without breakfast, the service is still in the good price ratio. The receptionists are eager to provide information, luggage is stored, an appreciable advantage. Good luck to the team and the hotel management, gladly until next time.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 separate bookings of 2 nights each, during February and March 2020, staying in different rooms each time.
I found the staff generally very helpful. The location is very good, being right on Plaza de Congreso. The breakfast is reasonable.
However the rooms are not up to usual Ibis standard and need renovating. One room I was given (13.12) was quite dirty - clumps of dust on the floor, the sink had hairs in it, the window frames were badly rusting and the taps worn. I was transferred to another room which was better, but there's an overall need for renovation.

The location is very good and the breakfast is delicious. However, the bathroom in the room I stayed in had an unpleasant smell, as if it hadn't been cleaned for some time. Apart from the amount of mold. Furthermore, the sink drain was broken, so there was a big hole left open. This forced me to be careful not to drop anything inside it.

Ibis standard hotel, close to supermarket, cafes, restaurants.
I'm an All Accor member so I have some benefits, I had an upgraded room, spacious apartment, comfortable bed, very good shower.
The apartment I stayed in offered a minibar (very weak), but it was enough to have cold water. Good location, you could walk to several tourist attractions.

I liked the hotel, simple but welcoming. Helpful staff. The only bad point was that my room didn't have a double bed, so we had to sleep in a single bed. Simple bathroom, but as expected. Excellent location, close to everything.

Good central location with historical surroundings nearby, with good underground communications (subway) nearby and different urban bus stops (buses). With careful attention from its staff.
The excess of zeal in the protection related to security, possibly induced by the popular mobilizations in front of Congress, damages its image by having access fenced.

Everything is all right, good location, good breakfast, standard Ibis standard. But ignored my two emails asking for an airport pick up, and refused a late check out even on a weekday. Not every receptionist speak English.

Dissatisfied, in relation to the cost $50,000 without invoice. You could hear absolutely everything that was happening in the next room, there were no basic hygiene items in the bathroom, such as shampoo, conditioner. Only two very low pillows.
There is also no appliance to heat water and prepare tea or coffee.
Two elevators, which you had to wait for a long time and on the 13th floor.
The attention at reception with very little tact.
I highlight the breakfast, quite complete.
I hope they can improve these shortcomings, because the location is fantastic. Greetings

Hi I can’t tell though the off season is sort of “now” as the peso argentino
is devaluated.
My room had a double bed but I guess they'll have rooms with two single rooms. Maybe e-mailand ask?
Riaan
I never had problems of this kind with IBis BAs. I would ask them for extra towels. Maybe they will charge, who knows what is going on in Argentina???
