I got this great TripAdvisor deal to stay here for a reasonable price. Excellent service, edgy designed and perfectly located in the very heart of San Telmo. Special thanks to the congierge who fixed tickets for the Boca Juniors football match!

If you are looking for something different this is the place. Clean, friendly, historic but with modern twist. This is a recently converted old house which has been sympathetically transformed to a modern urban living space. With mezzanine bedroom level, lots of old wood and modern alluminum, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, lounge, balcony. Big wooden shuttered Windows. On roof a hidden... More

This boutique hotel nestled in the lively, arty area of San Telmo is delightful. The best rooms are 201 202 as they have balconies onto the street. The bedrooms are in the mezzanine level with bathrooms with showers on both levels. Staff are great as is the decor.

Perfectly located and nice boutique hotel. Extremely nice and helpful bilangual staff. Room could be a bit cleaner though and small bathroom needs attention. Tip of the day; invest in the towels. These were completely worn out and had many stains.

I was recommended this hotel through a friend as a great place to stay in the quirky bohemian district of San Telmo. An old house with tall rooms had been converted In to a very modern hotel. The rooms were split level with a bathroom and lounge on the ground floor and a bedroom bathroom on the second floor. There... More

What truly made this hotel experience great was the staff. Every staff member was considerate and extremely helpful, which made us feel like we got the most out of our stay. We had so many questions about where to eat and what to do and the staff were always able to accommodate our questions and often went above and beyond.... More

We stayed as part of our honeymoon trip and the hotel was recommended by our tour company. The hotel is a contemporary conversion of a historic house. Design is ok but insertion of mezzanine a into high ceiling rooms make the spaces feel claustrophobic. The only natural daylight (and ventilation!) is from a light-well/internal courtyard, but as we were on... More

We stay here for a few nights for the convenient location. The rooms were nice with a small lounge, a nice bathroom and a bed upstairs in some sort of loft design. TV and wifi signal were pretty decent although we didn't stay that much in the hotel. The reception staff and night guard were really nice people but their... More

First, let me say that I am a seasoned traveler who likes to live better than I do at home, when I travel. I did my research before booking anything. I loved this intimate unique hotel, the charm and quality was above my expectations. There are only 12 suites which explains why it feels so intimate. There is a lovely... More

All the hotel staff was rude from the beggining to the end of the trip. They charge you money for leaving your bags when you check out and have a late flight. The breakfast is poor and they don't refill once the food is over. Avoid it, if it depends on me i'll never stay on this hotel again!

Dear Artur T Regarding to your coments, I would like to inform that breakfast goes from 7:30 to10:30am. During that time our staff will be most glad to serve “all you can eat” out from the 17 different options. When breakfast time ends, we keep something light for some more minutes but –as in any other hotel- we do not... More

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
