This isn't the most conveniently placed hotel for the attractions in the city. Despite the name, it's on the edge of Palermo, so not where the main concentrations of bars and restaurants are to be found - the nearest good places to eat are a few blocks away. The hotel is on a busy street, which is fairly noisy if at the front of the hotel, and next to a garage, which is fairly noisy until around 8 pm. More positively, the rooms are a reasonable size, well-laid out, were comfortable, had reasonable wifi and good-sized bathrooms. The breakfast offer is fairly standard, but totally fine, and the staff were all friendly and very helpful.
There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom when i arrived, but after i came back the cockroach was gone, so i think it wasnt dead after all. There was few variety in the breakfast and i didnt think it was worthy the price.
I choose this hotel due to its location! First of all the service is bad! All of them, in the reception and even in the breakfast. The location is not that good as I thought... there are better choices of hotel for sure in Palermo area! The hotel does not have anything in its structure: only the room! Not even a good lobby! The breakfast is very bad!! Compared to other hotels and the price paid for this one, there is no kitchen so they don’t make omelets, nothing extra! The only good thing in breakfast are the fresh fruits. I do not recommend! Go ahead and look for other hotel in Buenos Aires! I am pretty sure you will find!
Staffed 24 hours a day. Safe area even though there is graffiti throughout the area. At first glimpse you would think the hotel wasn't in a desirable location, but that isn't the case here. The hotel is a little hard to spot from the street. The sigh needs to be improved or maybe even lit up would help. The best way to identify the location is by the Yamaha motorcycle shop directly across the street. That shop has both corners full of motorcycles in big windows. In room safe. Easy walk to night clubs, cafes, small grocery shops, etc. The rooms are clean and have essentials. I did notice a coffee brewer in the room but the hotel does not provide coffee. Breakfast buffet isn't the best, I would walk for breakfast.
I chose the hotel because it is close to my office in Buenos Aires, in the Palermo area. I thought that being a HJ hotel, service and quality would be OK, but I was much disappointed. Internet in the room is weak and unstable, not reliable for a working trip. There is no room service, even though they announce they do have. If you (yourself) want to bring to your room a glass of orange juice from the breakfast room, you will be charged for it. If you ask for some ice, they charge for it! All in all, a disappointing experience.
