We were looking for a hotel with good reviews, and for that reason after reading a bunch of them we picked Europlaza. I do believe that the reviews really help. Europalza Hotel is a very professional place, from the from desk (amazed that the front desk personal spoke so many different languages), to the cleaning crew, to the wonderful breakfast. We are coming back for sure, and the location it is EXCELLENT!

I booked the Buenos Aires Europlaza Hotel online, based on guest reviews. The price was quite reasonable, and I paid a few dollars extra per night for an upgraded room with a coffee/tea service tray and a large jetted tub, which I did not use (it had a showerhead). The room was typically-sized for a small non-American hotel, with a safe, plenty of linens in the bathroom, and a helpful, friendly English-speaking front-desk staff. I appreciated the security of a locked entry door off the street that the staff buzzed open for guests, and that no one could access the elevator without passing the front desk. The location was great, on a quiet side street with three good restaurants, but located half a block from Las Corrientes, a large thoroughfare, and easy walking distance from the city center. The city was very hot, and my favorite feature was a bonafide air conditioner in the room, controlled by the guest, followed by the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. I found included breakfast sufficiently filling, with peeled boiled eggs and sliced cheeses offered in addition to breads and cold cereals. I would stay at the Europlaza again if in Buenos Aires.

Rooms are clean. Costumer service is excellent. They very helpful. The price is reasonable. The location is good also. From all the places a stayed in Argentina this was the best. Is about 1 hour away from eze airport but that is normal distance. They welcome everybody but I noticed the majority are Brazilians. They gold your baggage for the day. So you do not to carry it while waiting for the next trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and in Buenos Aires despite of the rainy weather. The hotel room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple. It’s a good hotel for your sightseeing tour because everything is nearby. A great Thank you to the guy at the reception counter (Carlos). His recommendations were absolutely awesome and he was always willing to help.

There’s not really much to say about the hotel. It’s ok, it’s average. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious without being anything special. The breakfast was ok. Yeah, it’s ok as I said. Close to restaurants and shops.

Breakfast was good with lots of choices, keeping in mind that Argentina is more related to a sweet and tiny brekfast here in Europlaza you have lots of choices. Room (suite) was bright and spacy. Bed was good, but not perfect. Overall the Europlaza is aged and needs to be updated. in the bathroom there were several rusty places. The "wellness and Spa area" comes extra with USD 32,-! Beside the fact that the definition for wellness and spa is pretty flexible I would not describe this area as wellness. The sauna is tiny and you might have a nice view through the gorges of houses in BA. However as the engine for elevator is also located at this area you will always hear the noices of the elevator, which gives you a surreal atmosphere while you try to relax here. At this time the oncosts for this area were not well described here on booking.com, luckily we got this wellness session for free, but I cannot recommend this for USD 32,-!! Unfortunately the door to the bathroom didn´t closed properly, caused due to rusty pieces at the dorr.

This is not a glitzy place but it is clean and well-maintained. It is in the "old" part of downtown, convenient to the subway and many attractions, such as Plaza de Mayo and the Pink House. The staff was very friendly and helpful in giving us advice about getting around town. We had a late flight back to the US, and they let us stay in the room until about 6:00 p.m. It was great to be able to go back to the hotel after sight-seeing all day and to change before our flight. They charged us about $30, but that was more than reasonable and worth it. I'm sure their ability to extend that benefit depends on how busy they are.

Returning from Antarctica, I decided to thaw out in Buenos Aires a couple days. The Europlaza was very affordable. I was extremely pleased. The staff spoke very good English. They helped me work though some credit card issues as my card had changed since booking. I found the room much nicer than I expected. The bed was very comfortable. The only minus was hallway noise seemed to carry into the room. It was minimal. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations. Hot scrambled eggs with sausages, fresh fruit, a nice variety of breads, croissants and pastries. I don't normally see breakfast this nice at US interstate highway hotels. For well under $100/night this was a great value. It's an easy walk to most restaurants, theaters and the center of city. I enjoyed my stay.
