Fabulous staff, Alex greeted us so warmly on arrival and made us feel very welcome. They had arranged wine in our room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Our suite was very specious, plenty of wardrobe space, fridge, big comfy bed and huge shower area. Separate toilet, sinks and bath/ shower which was good. All decor is very modern and fabulous. Clean and comfortable room. There’s a pool, sauna and massages available at the hotel. Breakfast was great and all cooked fresh to order - omelettes/ toasties/ pastries/ coffee and juice. My only downsides were small but they need more hooks by the sink for towels ideally. Our bath plug didn’t work and we had actually booked this to soak in the bath after 10 days of walking round Patagonia so that was a little annoying. The terrace was nice but it’s shared with 2 other rooms so it would be better to have dividers for some privacy. Hotel is on a busy street and you can hear the traffic so just pack earplugs and you’ll sleep fine. Overall would recommend as it’s a lovely hotel. Couple touches and it would have been perfect.…
The hotel is fresh and new. It is not fancy, but it looks fresh and new and clean. Not a lot of amenities in the rooms. But it's with safe and a small fridge. The room cleaning is on request. They also have a small pool, but it is really limited with sun on the sundeck and no madress on the sunbed. There is a sauna and wetsauna for free in the spa. It can be locked so it is nice and private. The breakfast is ok. Basic, but served at the table witch is nice. Breakfast staff does not really speak English. In the front desk they speak perfectly English.
Fantastic location, room is spacious with a magnificent terrace and the most friendly and helpful staff. Best place to stay in Buenos Aires with spa, included breakfast made to order and great cooks that cater to everyone’s tastes and needs.
I was recently visiting Buenos Aires with a friend and was fortunate enough to stay at the Krista for six nights. The hotel was very modern, rooms including bathrooms were spacious and the location in Palermo was perfect for exploring right out the door of the hotel. The best part was the very friendly and helpful staff, especially Alex. He responded immediately when I had a couple of questions before making the journey. Once we got there, he happily and graciously organized day tours, taxis etc...and served us (and all the guests) a wonderful glass of wine each "Happy Hour." I would not hesitate to stay there again and to recommend it to friends. Good job Alex!
Great location! Very clean and modern! Beautiful hotel. Comfy bed, nice and spacious bathroom and bedroom, friendly front desk, the included breakfast is amazing. Stay here! You won’t regret it. I will be staying here whenever I’m in Bs As again.
After having read the other reviews my expectations were MUch higher. The hotel has a good location in Palermo soho, walking distance to restaurants and bars. The infrastructure is quite bare , the outside is very much concrete and grey. Rooms also are very simple, with very basic toilette supplies ( only a small soap and a shampoo - no conditioner no body cream- which is what generally supplied in 4 stars hotels) Staff is reduced to a bare minimum: check in staff - only one person - check in/out, serves drinks, opens the front door etc etc . Breakfast is very poor and slow (!) one person only serving - it took us more than 20 mins to be served then it arrived twice incomplete and missing cutlery, butter etc. ( toasts cold and scrambled eggs overdone !) Hotel has no kitchen hence no snacks or simple dinner / sandwiches can be provided during the day Considering the cost of the hotel I believe the owners should look into having more staff at front des and more staff at breakfast in order to have a faster service … also breakfast only starts at 8:30. In general my experience despite the wonderful Alex (!!) who truly is very kind and helpful, was not positive I thought the cost way to high for what the hotel offers . I felt ripped off, I would not recommend this hotel.…
We stayed for just one night but I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Located in a great area with lots of restaurants. Great design, modern and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and silent.great outdoor area with a nice pool
We stayed in the Palermo-Soho neighborhood at the Krista in November. The rooms were spacious, the staff was incredibly helpful and gracious. Alex in particular was so helpful as we planned our trip. He answered everyone of our millions of questions before we arrived, handled reservations for meals and cars, even stored our bags for us when we took a quick flight to Iguazu for 2 days before returning to the hotel and have every bag in our rooms upon our return. The neighborhood is fantastic with lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Also I had a massage on my day of arrival which was great and set the trip up very nicely.
All I can say about this hotel is...ALEX. Front desk employee ALEX is the heart of this hotel and a true godsend. This fabulous man spent over a year emailing with us, giving us tips, answering questions, reserving our rooms, and just generally being the most perfect gem of an employee that anyone could ask for. Restaurant recommendations or reservations? Alex handled. Arranging airport transportation for several of us? Alex handled. Want a massage downstairs? Alex handled. Questions about Covid or travel protocols? Alex handled. Alex truly went above & beyond and this would not have been the same trip without him. The other front desk staff is lovely & accommodating as well! The rooms were spacious and clean with lovely hot water/water pressure in the showers (it's important!). The hotel was quiet & clean & safe and in a wonderful location -- short walk to all the amazing shopping and restaurants. Patio was lovely for champagne in the afternoon! Super affordable for this gem of a boutique hotel. Would absolutely recommend. Oh, and tell Alex we said hi!…
Very very warm staff and nice modern design. Services are hidden and you you always must ask for them, it is a little be embarrassing have to do it. Private parking with extra cost but not expensive. In the other hand amenities are good and plentty of space.
