In my opinion this is not a hotel for tourists since it is not exactly near from the main points of tourist interest. It is in a quiet, elegant area. There is some sophistication in the decoration and the small rooms are well planned. I liked the dark colours of the room which had all the extras I needed (fast...

The hotel is a bit worse than the other Dazzler hotels but nevertheless it's good. Rooms in general are clean and, although they are not precisely big, they are OK. Location is also good (atlhough there are no shops near, you can easily get to them from the hotel). Breakfast was OK too. The best thing about the hotel is...

We had to book this hotel for one night literally at the last minute because a different hotel in Buenos Aires overbooked us. All in all, the Dazzler Laprida was very clean and quiet, well located for what we wanted to do, and considerably better than we expected it would be. The staff were quite helpful when we arrived, as...

The hotel is very well located. It seems to be clean. Rooms are designed with black walls, thing that made them very dark and made it difficult to see if they are properly cleaned or not. Breakfast is ok, but try to be there early, because the choice decreases with the time. The real value of the hotel is its...

I would agree with other reviewers that the photos of the rooms make them look more plush than reality but this is always the case. I stayed on my own so the room size was fine & the bathroom was big with a large powerful shower. The bed was huge too (king size) and very comfortable. I rather liked the...

Rooms are small but clean and in an excellent location. The area Recoletta is close to many areas that are a must see. The subway is 5blocks away and for 10 pesos to can get to the Centre of the city. They have a buffet breakfast that has pastries, toast and fruit. The staff were helpful. There are several restarauants...

First of all, in my experience the room photos were not representing well the room. Specifically, the room is TINY. Granted, I didn't come to Bs As to sit inside the hotel, but still, there was not adequate space for two people to store stuff, there was not even a chair in the room! There was soot falling from somewhere...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
