Overall this hotel provided a clean room with breakfast. It is situated in an interesting area however I probably would not choose this neighborhood again. The morning coffee was excellent, however the breakfast was somewhat lacking. Meat and cheese were not available each day. My biggest issue was that the WiFi was extremely undependable.

Dear Guest, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at Piedras Suites with other travellers. We have been working hard to improve the internet service. As we are located in a protected historical area, many internet providers did not have local authorization to make new infraestructure. Fortunately, it has changed in the last months and now we... Piedras suites was a wonderful place to stay. It was exactly what I was looking for. There was plenty of room there, a little kitchenette, bedroom upstairs with the second and spacey bathroom. Everything is clean. Personnel extremely friendly and helpful. For me, location was great. I will definitely stay there again.

The price was good. The location is good. It is surrounded by everything you need. Subway is close by. Our room was spacious with a loft and two bathrooms/showers. The receptionists are always friendly and very helpful. The only problem was the AC leaked a big puddle onto the floor, even though the AC was not set very cold.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and enjoyed the place. The suite is huge, great open planned lounge, kitchen. The air con worked well but because it was on the bottom floor we still had to use the fan upstairs. The kitchen is well appointed, and modern. The main sofa was falling apart which was a pity. The DVD selection... More

A friend and I stayed for three nights when we arrived in BA. The apartments are a great size and the staff extremely friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient although can be a little dodgy too - but we had no issues at all.

The spacious, clean and well-equipped appartment in San Telmo made us feel very welcome and comfortable in BA's most traditional quarter with all relevant spots nearby and perfect connections to other parts in this great city. Would always book it again!

Very confortable apartment, well located, good acomodations ( bed, bathdroom), and very regardful staff. I certainly recommend for couples and small families. The WiFi need to be im´proved, becuse sometimes need to be reset by te front desk person. Another issue is the cleaning ( you have to request to...), otherwise is not cleaned.

I visited Buenos aires for a few days and stayed at Las Piedras, its a simple place with very helpful staff, located in the heart of san telmo, it's a very nice way to see an older side of the city and to walk arround. There is not much for breakfast but enough to get your day started, or you... More

I spent a week here while attending the Congresso Internationale de Tango Argentino. I chose this hotel because it was recommended by a friend, was next door to the venue, and had good prices. Staying in San Telmo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
