Stayed at Duque for 4 nights on the front end of our trip. Duque was the perfect hotel for what we needed (which was a good price, clean, and a good location). It's within walking distance to Palermo Viejo (ie the heart of Palermo Soho) in an extremely safe part of town- it's perfect if you're planning on soaking up...

4 nights in this hotel give you the feeling of being at home abroad! Excellent services, nice rooms, but most of all: the most friendliest personel I have encountered in a hotel for many years. Hospitality exists, in Duque Boutique Hotel Buenos Aires!

This is a very quaint hotel in a great location. All of the hip bars and restaurants in Palermo Soho are within a ten minute walk. The staff was friendly, addressing us by name from the time we checked in. They were also very helpful, helping us make reservations at local restaurants and attractions. The hotels even kept breakfast open...

We stayed here for three nights in Octoberand we just so thrilled with the hotel. The rokms were well designed with tasteful furnishings, showers had lots of gushing hot water and it was just so clean and fresh. The breakast was the best we have had on our trip to Latin America. To top it off the girls covering the...

Stayed at the Duque at the tail end of my first trip to South America. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. On the way from the bus station, called the hotel for instructions for the taxi driver in spanish and this was the start of the kind of service throughout my 3 day stay. Location was perfect,...

Not too far from a metro station Scalbrini Ortez which links to the cirt centre. Close to the zoo and botanical gardens, excellent restaurants and the Eva Peron museum. They seem to enjoy making your stay enjoyable. Not amazingly cheap but it is excellent value for money. Bed and breakfast seemed to include afternoon tea as well!

On our 10-day journey through Argentina, we had the pleasure of staying at Duque hotel two different times. Both stays we excellent - a wonderful, well-informed, and welcoming staff, and a perfect location to walk around Palermo Soho. The entire staff helped us as we navigated a new city. I highly recommend this boutique hotel that feels like a second home.

We stayed here in August while on our honeymoon. We travelled for 3 weeks in South America and 3 weeks in North America and this was definately the best hotel we stayed in. We loved the location in Palermo Soho. Very close to shops, restaurants, cafes etc... Our room was lovely but small. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. It is a boutique hotel but I felt the breakfast area and pool area was just too small. This is not a pool for sunbathing! Overall enjoyable but a little too cramped.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
