I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Charming decor and comfortable, but the highlight is the service. The staff are very friendly and have helped us a lot to make sense of a strange city, especially on the first day of landing. Breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff genuinely super friendly and very understanding despite us not... More

Having stayed in a more central part of Buenos Aires I moved to the Duque hotel for a change of pace and was so glad I did! It's on a quiet street a short walk from the bars, shops and restaurants of Palermo a lively party of the city! The hotel itself was excellent, the staff were friendly and the... More

The Duque Hotel is in a great location for experiencing the neighbourhood of Palermo and its nightlife, as well as being convenient for access to all of Buenos Aires. But it's the staff in the hotel that make a difference, whether that is arranging airport transfers, excursions (we had a fabulous day at the Polo grounds) or just being a... More

Our stay at the Duque was a very pleasant one. First and foremost the staff at the front desk is OUTSTANDING! They really went above and beyond to help guide us to explore Buenos Aires-thank you! The neighborhood (Palermo) is perfect as it is walking distance to many restaurants, shops and attractions. Breakfast was served in the downstairs dining area... More

This hotel was the loveliest place to stay, everyone of the front desk staff were amazing,so friendly and super helpful, that's not to take anything away from the sweet ladies who work in the kitchen. Breakfast was spot on, good variety and quality. The location is convenient and great dining options nearby. Can"t recommend this hotel enough.

4 of us spent three nights and duque hotel and spa and were generally very pleased, probably 4.5 rating if it were a choice. Pluses were very good value for money, breakfast (if you there early the bread will be warm and extra good) , location and staff. Small negatives are relatively small rooms and finicky air conditioning in both... More

Hotel great, staff amazing, food good, pool cool, in a easy area to walk to places or take a taxi, we walked to most places. I would say my only off thing to say is the room I got. It was not on any pictures I looked at and was a little small for 2 people and 3 1/2 suitcases,... More

Our room was on the small side but that was fine. It was a beautiful room. Quiet. Window with a great view. Nice bathroom. Lovely decorations with the TV and bookcase in a recessed alcove. Hotel Duque proved itself on many fronts to be a great choice in Buenos Aires for the traveler who wants environment, comfort, economy, and service for their stay in the city. Stayed here for 4 nights. Highly recommend it! Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
