The only good thing was the attention at check-in (Friday at 15.40). A lot of things were not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel: There were no tea bags or coffee bags in the room. When I called the reception they told me that I had to go PERSONALLY to the restaurant and buy it there. Tea bags and coffee are always courtesy of the place, even in the most humble bed & breakfast. The wifi in the room worked poorly. The air conditioning hot/cold was old and did not work constantly. The lift was not responsive (we ended up using stairs several times because while going down if it stopped on another floor, it lost the "original order" and went back up). In the spa there was no staff constantly, such as asking for towels, turning on the heating in the pool area, pushing the button that activates the hydro-pool; or even turning the saunas on before we arrived at 12 (noon) and they had time to warm up (having booked the space the day before). When we told reception they responded badly, saying that there is never anyone there, which is not true because the day before there was a person there and that day, at about 13:00, the same person also arrived. In the spa, we were not allowed to take our towels to our room, which is ridiculous. It is also very poor that they do not offer dressing gowns and sandals in the spa and you have to bring your own from your room. Breakfast was very sparse and of average quality. The cold cuts were reduced to ham and not very good either. The chipás were clearly frozen and not "fresh" or tasty. The best were the scrambled eggs and the potatoes and yoghurts. The juice was terrible. A 4-star hotel can not have natural juice and instead put diluted and poor-quality industrial juice. The coffee was passable... I didn't try all the pastries, of course, but the croissants were good. The bathroom in the room did not have a disposable/travel toothbrush and toothpaste. Going down the stairs one found the trays removed from the rooms resting on the floor, really a scene of very poor hygiene and decorum. The Frigobar in the rooms was empty. I went 7 years ago and returned on 26/27 June 2022 and the decadence is really tremendous, I will not return again and obviously, I will comment on this to my acquaintances.…
Service was excellent. Bed was super big and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Any problems or questions were quickly resolved or answered. English is spoken by almost everyone. We were upgraded as they weren’t so busy. We ended up coming back for an extra week. Only problem was the same bath with no taps!
Excellent location in Buenos Aires. Very clean hotel and Covid-19 safe. The best of it was their staff. Very attentive, customer service focused and always ready to help in order to make you feel welcome and happy. There were a series of issues with my booking and other stuff but Florencia managed to sort them all out!!! Thank you a million for your professionalism and patience!!! THANK YOU!!!
Most rooms have no outside window. So it is constantly dark. The smell in our bathroom was terrible. The staff is ok, the swimming pool is ok but the access is too limited. Breakfast is too busy. Between 9.30 and 9.45 there is no space and at 10 sharp they take the buffet away. Not advisable.
I have never been to a filthier place. Ever. Photos are an absolute lie, the place is dirty, the chandeliers are actually opaque, so dusty!!! At the corners of the lobby one can find hairballs, schmutz all over the sink, ceiling infiltrated, rusty faucet and shower. The bed had sheets that looked as if somebody had already laid there. Decoration is poor. I could not stay longer than 5 minutes in the room. PLEASE RUN WHILE YOU CAN.
We stayed here for a week. Nice free breakfast, pool which we didn't use but all the people that worked there were helpful to us. Location was great too. Very helpful when we asked girl directions and for places to eat.
I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel! Decoration is sad, the hotel is in a poor state. It seems that o one it taking care of it. Staff are also not so nice! Thank God I just stayed for one night!
Worst hotel I’ve stayed in in BA. It’s dirty and the staff are rude, poorly trained and generally useless. Breakfast is rubbish and check out was unacceptably slow. The rooms are very dingy and the whole place is in need of a refurb
Definitely not worth what it costs. - Overburdened staff and facilities not taken care of. 2hs+ to be served dinner - Poor WiFi, sometimes lost connection; Poor view - Kind of OK Pool - Location is rather practical
Very dirty. The pool area had a stinky smell and was dirty. The floors were dirty and the doors had the finger prints of thousands of people that visited the place during the last years. The warpool was "green" and the water was probably not changed in the last months. The room had a dirty washroom where we could find others people hears. The room was stinky and the humidity inside made very difficult to sleep. You could see the personel around doing very little. Lack of mantainence was evident. For instance at the main entrance, corridors, elevators, and the sauna. People were not very friendly neither. The breackfast was plenty of artificial stuff and the drinks were just undrinkable. Something we did not know was that you need to book the pool because it is small and they do not allow more than 4-5 people per shift. In any case we did not really use that dirty pool…
