My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights in February. The whole experience was absolutly brilliant. We did not feel as if we were customers, it was as if we were house guests in someone's beautiful home. We had a ground floor terrace room, which was amazing. Large and very well furnished. The icing on the cake was our... More

Moved from an awful hotel experience to Magnolia by relying on Tripadvisor. Magnolia has excellent and very helpful staff, lovely and very quite rooms, is located in a quiet residential part of Palermo but easy to reach center of city, and very good breakfasts. Hotel staff really works to serve their guests!

A tad late doing tjis review as I thought the wife had posted a reveiw in november. Stayed here at the start and end of our 2 week holiday. Good location, not far to the tube station, cash points etc. Lots of nice restaurants near by, our favourite was La Choza, great food, service, and atmosphere. Busy so book ahead.... More

This was my first trip to Argentina and staying at the Magnolia in Palermo was the best way to begin my visit to this marvellous country. I travel far and wide, and I can safely say that the owner and staff of this beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated boutique hotel extended the best hotel hospitality I have ever experienced anywhere!... Although in my travels in Argentina I have found some "boutique" hotels to be stylish, but without substance, Magnolia is really a cut above the rest. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The roof deck is a great place to have a glass of Malbec, while looking over the city. The hotel is also in a great neighborhood,... More

My wife and I capped off an Antarctic cruise with a 3 day stay at Magnolia. We could not have been more delighted. Wonderful ambiance, splendid breakfast (homemade yogurt tells you how special everything is), comfy room and bed, but best of all are the people who make Magnolia so very welcoming. Maria is so friendly and helpful, as well... More

My friend, who was on business and I stayed at the Hotel Magnolia in the fall of 2010. The hotel was superb. Rooms were well appointed with hardwoods, antiques, private patio. Theroof patio has couches and pillows and a great view of the neighborhood. Its a lovely older building that has been tastfully renovated with art work, very good breakfasts,... More

My fiancee and I stayed at this beautiful hotel while on a business trip in December 2011. The service at the hotel was superb and the morning breakfast is amazing. The hotel is a historic house. All the rooms are unique with the classic boutique hotel feel. My favorite part was the location. We felt safe walking everywhere and it... More

My spouse and I stayed at the Magnolia Hotel for one week in December 2011. We had a wonderful time and I would absolutely recommend the hotel. The hotel is in an historic house that has been beautifully renovated and that has kept its charm. We had a patio room immediately above the entrance; this gave us a nice view... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
