This is an exceptionally nice boutique hotel in a quiet location in Palermo Soho. There are lots of shops, restaurants and two markets nearby and it's a pleasant walk to the botanic gardens and zoo. The reception area is roomy and pleasant, with a bookcase full of books and a laptop guests can use for internet access. Also there is...

Centrally located in Palermo SoHo, the Magnolia is close to BA's trendy boutiques, clubs, restuarants and bars. It is less than 1km from the Subte (Metro), and well serviced by taxi and bus routes. The hotel is in a converted mansion, very tasteful decor, rooms very spacious and staff exceptionally well trained and sincerely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is...

In one of the most pleasant neighbour of Buenos-Aires (Palermo) a small boutique hotel close to restaurants stops, etc. But very quiet. Large rooms around a clear patio, And a very pleasant roof top solarium to relax after a long day of visits. Service is extremely friendly And helpful. Not to Forget breakfast with a large choice of food. All...

We had a perfectly acceptable stay at the Magnolia, highlight was the breakfast which is justifiably praised, bread was warm, jams and dulce del leche tasty, and other selections all of high quality. The room itself was fine but nothing special. We had twin beds, and the beds themselves were more narrow than typical so for the price may have...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights upon our arrival in Argentina. We had a patio room, which at first worried us because we were right beside the breakfast area and thought it might be noisy. However, we were never bothered by outside noise during our stay. The room had a king-size bed, and a small sitting area. There...

We were originally booked into a hotel in the Puerto Madero area for our final night in BA after visiting Iguazu, but we enjoyed the Palermo area so much that we arranged to stay at this wonderful hotel (with the help of the Duque Hotel - our original hotel in BA before Iguazu). The Magnolia is a very classy stylish...

This was our 2nd visit to Buenos Aires and also our second visit to Hotel Magnolia. It is an oasis of calm and peace in a hectic city, but in a very well located area, with bars restaurants etc. The staff are very polite and helpful (particularly Natalia and Fransisco)and can't do enough to help you and arrange any trips, shows etc. So...

We just got back from a quick tour around Argentina. This hotel certainly met our expectations. There is so much character to this place and attention to detail. We stayed three nights in the Terrace rooms which will not disappoint. You have your own private patio and a lot of privacy as you are the only room on that floor....

After finding the rather inconspicuous entrance we were greeted to a magnificent hotel full of charm and warmth. The room was beautifully laid out and the communal areas were immaculate. The hotel is located in the Soho area and within 3 minutes of leaving the room we were surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. The breakfast provided was delicious and...

Gorgeous hotel with luxurious fittings, a free glass of wine on arrival, lovely bedrooms, nice breakfast and extremely helpful and nice concierge/receptionists (particularly Francisco). Located in Palermo Soho - the trendy area of Buenos Aires and surrounded by nice restaurants and bars. Anyone would struggle to find a fault with this hotel.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
