This is a great hotel. It's well located in Palermo in a trendy, but quiet area, close to many restaurants, bars, jazz clubs, cooking schools and art museums. It has only a few rooms so the staff can really focus on you. The rooms are reasonably large, upgraded and spotless, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms with great showers. Our room also had an outdoor sitting area. A sit-down hot breakfast was served everyday with numerous choices -- all included in your room rate. The staff is on duty 24/7; they are especially attentive, friendly and very helpful. They speak English well enough. A good example of their effort: we had an early flight and checked out at 5:30 am. The staff person made us fresh cappuccinos to go in cups and provided us with a breakfast in a bag to go consisting of croissants and a platter of varied cheeses and ham. How many hotels have you stayed in that did that for you at 5:30 am?

Room Tip: You don't need a rental car. Uber's are ridiculously inexpensive. Most rides are $2-$3!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had the most amazing experience. The location was perfect ( quiet, safe, and just a few blocks from everything Palermo has to offer) the rooms are bright and comfortable, we never made it to breakfast ( served 7-10) but we always had coffee and juice that they brought to our room:) the roof top is a lovely place to relax and have a glass or bottle of wine ( which also can be brought to you on a silver tray with nuts)
Probably the best part of this hotel are the 3 lovely women who run the place 24/7. Their english is perfect and there is nothing that they can’t help you with.
If you arrive early head over to the cute cafe across the street for the best cappuccino ! Bike rental around the corner, looks like a repair shop, but they will also rent you bikes, helmet and lock.
If you are reading this look no further and book this charming hotel, there are only 8 rooms and they were all full during our stay.
Thank you for making our first trip to BA extra special!!!

I felt at home!
Magnolia Hotel is a cozy place that exudes peace. The room was prepared in every detail and the living room was beautiful, where I could read, chat with other guests and work for a while.
The spectacular breakfast, with delicious Argentine options, both salty and sweet.
The treatment at the reception was impeccable and very friendly, where they recommended nearby places to dine and I was able to chat about Argentina and its charms quietly.
I would repeat without a doubt!

We found the Magnolia struck the perfect balance between luxury pied-a-terre and international hotel. The understated restoration of this old Buenos Aires town house is thoughtful, charming and relaxing. It was our Buenos Aires base which we stayed in three separate times over our holiday - firstly when we arrived in Argentina then between trips to other parts of the country. Our rooms were grand, comfortable and practical and we found the location very convenient for exploring the cultural and foodie destinations in Palermo and Recoletta that interested us. Most brilliant of all, the women at reception were so very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They, even more than the lovely breakfast and the wonderfully vast and soporific beds, made our stay absolutely five star.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at the Magnolia in Dec/24 . Situated on a quiet street in Palermo, there are only about 8 rooms so it feels like you're staying in a private residence. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the roof top patio was a great place to relax with a drink after a day of sightseeing. But what sets this hotel apart is the wonderful staff. From check-in to restaurant suggestions within walking distance to organizing last minute airport car service, they went above and beyond to help us. This boutique hotel is a gem and we would stay here again without hesitation if we go back to Buenos Aires.

The Magnolia Hotel is set in a very good area with lots of great restaurants. It felt very secure with staff letting you in when you returned from an outing. The room we stayed in was very spacious but could have benefitted from pictures on the wall. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was lovely and quiet. There was plenty of storage for clothes so that after a couple of weeks travelling we could unpack properly. Although the bathroom was very nice we had problems with the hot water in the shower which we were told was caused by problems outside the hotel and to be fair our bill was adjusted to reflect this.
The staff in the hotel were very polite and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

The service provided by all of the staff was truly the best. So friendly and helpful at any time of day or night. Excellent breakfast, served very early each day to accommodate our schedules. The small hotel ( only 8 guest rooms) is well furnished with large and comfortable rooms. Excellent TV and wifi services. Location in Palermo is also very good. A quiet spot but a short walk to so many great restaurants. Wish we could have stayed even longer!

Simply outstanding stay at this small, charming hotel in the Palermo district. Staff from reception to cleaning couldn’t have been more warm or accommodating. We arrived at 10:30 AM direct from airport and within the hour, we were enjoying our comfortable room with large windows overlooking 2 teeny courtyards. Nice shower and big towels. Welcome glass of wine later that day and then another glass with their empanadas. Relaxing and delicious. Loved the roof deck. Grateful to Michaela who helped us track down a nice restaurant when the one we wanted was fully booked. Very quiet neighborhood but near everything. Breakfast looks over courtyard. Perfect. Highly recommend!

This was a reallly great small hotel. The location is very walkable and Ubers are a great method to get to other parts of the city. Room was spacious enough, breakfast yummy, and staff was charming and so helpful. Only issue was shower door was installed backward making it a bit tight to squeeze into the shower (it swings the wrong way..). A/C worked well. Concierge was helpful arranging reservations or anything in advance of our stay…

Great stay. I loved the fact the hotel is small which brings a sense of exclusivity and privacy.
Room is very spacious and comfortable. Shower is great.
Highly qualified staff! All receptionists spoke English which helped me very much in communication.
Breakfast in the room was a great surprise and the location is 10. Very close to the best restaurants (don julio, el preferido, la Alacena etc).
I'll stay back there for sure
